I took the longer route home to avoid a very steep hill because my legs were done! #peaches are in season and my kitchen smells so good right now… 🍑 promote 👁 health , ❤️ health are loaded with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. This one of the many ways I’m enjoying these sweet, juicy beauties! Honey Cinnamon Baked Peaches 2 TBSPs of butter or ghee 2 TBSPs of raw unpasteurized honey Cinnamon to taste 2 ripe peaches Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a 8x8 pan with parchment paper and set aside. Gently wash the peaches, cut in half and remove the stone (pit). Place the peach halves in the pan and sprinkle with cinnamon to your taste. In a small sauce pan over low heat add the butter and honey and stir until melted and combined. when that’s done drizzle the mixture over the peaches and bake for 20-30 minutes or until the peaches are tender and bubbling. But did you know... Red fruits and veggies help fight cancer and reduce the risk of diabetes and heart disease. Think tomatoes, strawberries, watermelon, red peppers and beets. Orange and yellow fruits and vegetables promote eye health, improve immune function and also reduce the risk of heart disease. Think oranges, sweet potatoes, lemons, carrots and winter squash. Green Fruits and veggies also help boost the immune system, help with detoxification, provide vitamin K essential for blood and bone health. Think broccoli, brussels sprouts, asparagus, green apples and kale. Purple and blue fruits and vegetables help fight cancer, inflammation and provide anti-aging benefits. Today marks the start of a new chapter of my life. I’ve been a stay at home mom for 8 years now. It’s been 8 years of my kids being my number 1 priority and my own wants and needs taking a back seat. It’s been an amazing 8 years and I’m so happy that I had the opportunity to be home with them. But now they are both in school full time. And while I plan on getting a job soon, I am in absolutely no rush. Because for the first time in a long time, I get to focus on me! It’s a reentry of sorts for me. Reentry into the real world. Reentry into making myself a priority. Reentry into filling my cup. I plan to spend the time doing things that make me happy and fill my cup. Lots of adventuring, exploring, and relaxing. I’ll be paddle boarding in new places. Hiking and working towards going higher and longer. Getting back to running, biking, swimming, and possibly attempting a tri this fall (possibly). Getting back to finding my love of reading. Learning how to relax again (I even bought a travel hammock!)🤣. Well, my toe survived this short run and my left ankle is certainly feeling better. One week of no running has helped me heal. The new toe injury from yesterday’s power washer run in, will take a little longer. Upbeat Strength, Day 22, is history! Phase 2 is a challenge but I feel stronger each day! My weight increase for lifting is helping with toning and definition. At 53, I feel simply amazing! My energy level is higher now than six years ago. I decided to take control of my eating habits and slowly built in a fitness program that works for my busy life! It has been a great journey and I am so glad I took a chance on me. I am flooded with messages about Plexus and the products I use daily, and of course, naturally, people are curious and wondering about the price. Is it expensive? That all depends on your priorities. You see, for ME, personally, I was feeling terrible. Zero energy, crazy anxiety, horrible sleep and uncomfortable bloating, hormones out of whack, headaches, (the list goes on, but I won’t bore you) I just didn’t feel like me anymore. I was in and out of the Doctors offices trying to find answers. To be set free from 98% of the issues I was struggling with is life changing. So for ME, paying a little over $100 a month is NOTHING, and Id do whatever it took to be able to afford it. I haven’t drank energy drinks or soda in a year. I don’t crave for sugar and carbs anymore. I’m not reaching for that Twix at the grocery check out every time, and I actually crave water!! So thankful for this turn around. Thankful that I’m not still living that same life. I have grown so much the last 4 years, spiritually, mentally, emotionally- all of it.
