Monday morning thoughts: Just because things could’ve been different, doesn’t mean they’d be better. 💭 . . Here’s some down time from this busy but beautiful weekend. Been loving these Sunday morning stretches I’ve been having recently with @jenn_mastropaolo . We wake up slow, sip our tea, move our bodies, eat our favorite breakfast, and start our weeks grinding away at our jobs/school. We crush it together, if I do say so myself. #bestfriendgoals Happy Monday, lovely humans. And remember, you’re exactly where you’re meant to be. Right here. Ви питаєте, як почати займатися спортом, де знайти мотивацію, як не здатись і дочекатись результату? У мене є відповідь. 😉 Все визначає ціль. Тобто чітка відповідь на питання, ЧОМУ ви це робите. Для чого. ❤ Щоб схуднути? Щоб бути красивими? Щоб бути супер гнучкими? Щоб позбутися болю? Щось інше або все разом взяте? Спорт у моє життя прийшов торік. ❤ Не як тимчасовий експеримент чи пригода, а як порятунок. Він виявився найкращими ліками від важких думок та почуттів. Мені подобалось тренувати своє тіло, відчувати і бачити, як м’язи стають міцнішими. Подобалося акцентувати на цьому увагу. Мені було цікаво, чого я зможу досягти за місяць чи рік. Мені й досі цікаво. Я й досі обожнюю легку місцеву крепатуру, адже вона свідчить про те, що моє тренування не було нудним чи банальним. 😁 Наразі спорт для мене - це щось більше, ніж хороша звичка. 😎 Це необхідність. Як їжа, наприклад. І фішка в тому, що на те, аби знайти місце для нього у своєму житті, не потрібно багато часу - всього 10-20-30 хв в день чи навіть тиждень), не потрібно багато грошей - домашні тренування безкоштовні (якщо ви такі ж економні, як я) і водночас дуже ефективні. Потрібно лише бажання. Чи потрібна самоорганізація? О, так! Іноді себе заставити щось зробити не так просто. Але (читай вище!), якщо є ціль, яку ви чітко визначили для себе, то кожен новий день, кожне маленьке чи велике тренування ставить вас на крок ближче до неї. Чи потрібна мотивація? Ще б пак! Рано чи пізно ви досягнете цілі: схуднете на 5 кг або просто будете кайфувати від свого відображення у дзеркалі. Чи, можливо, спорт вам давав щось значно більше, ніж просто спалювання калорій? 😉 Працюйте над собою, над своїм тілом. Якщо ви маєте час, аби прочитати цей пост, то обов’язково знайдете його на те, аби нагадати своїм м’язам, хто головний. Ready to work on your middle splits? 🤗 Let's do dis! . Make sure you are taking enough time to warm up & prepare your body to go into this advanced asana (pose). . Don't ever rush when it comes to flexibility! Always, but always listen to your body & move mindfully as you progressively take steps toward your goal. Baby steps are the fastest way to get towards your goal. . ⭐As you're coming out of the pose do it slow, take your time. ⭐After each asana make sure to rest & take a counter pose. . Here are the 5 asanas that will prepare your body for middle splits: ⭐Bound Angle Pose - one of the best hip openers, groin & inner thighs stretch. ⭐ Seated Forward Fold - will prepare your hamstrings, hips, groin & inner thighs to go into the middle splits. ⭐ Side Lunge - another great hip opening pose. ⭐ Frog Pose - this a pretty intense hip opener! Take it easy here. Begin with one minute and progressively work toward 5 min. ⭐ Straddle By The Wall - the most relaxing way to prepare your body for middle splits. Just relax & focus on your breath & allow the gravity to do the work for you! . Practice this poses daily not only to get into middle splits but all these hip openers have tones of physical, mental, & spiritual benefits. You won't believe how good you will feel. . Namaste! . Had a GREAT Core Yoga-Pilates class @901downtownyoga !!!! Lovin the new space, and the new energy at this studio! Looking forward to new things unfolding here! Side note: I've come to notice that I really don't sleep that much. I feel asleep around 3:30am to turn around, and be up to teach class at 5:15am... So much high vibrational energy surrounds me...I astral travel MAD EASILY....and my body doesn't need as much as one would think...even with all of my physical activity. Meditation has become a rejuvenating respite for me...the breath seems to restore all of the energy that I need... visualizing my goals, and then I let them be.... Practicing the universal law of detachment, see? I know all is mental, and the Universe begins within me...Third eye projector on fleek...Soul flying free like evaporated water droplets... looking forward to it's return to the infinite Sea... I may look thoroughly pissed off, but that’s jus because I’m not wearing my glasses; my good ol’ ‘I can’t see’ testing face — but, a few weeks ago, I said I was going to wake up earlier on Tuesdays and Thursdays in an effort to savor my mornings and also make waking up much less jarring in work days. I’ve been spending the last month or so creating a #routine for myself. Wake, read, #coffee, sunrise yoga with @adrienelouise, meditation, dress, and go. That whole process is stretched over two hours and I love every minute of it. —— Now I wasn’t going to post this, because my #tummy hangs out, my postures aren’t perfect, I’m shaky, the list goes on and on. But there isn’t anything perfect about this or about life, so I said who cares. Let me just say that doing yoga after doing 100 squats yesterday left me for a mess.
