Deadlifting is an interesting chess game. It’s a full body lift that incorporates so many aspects to get maximum benefits depending on what exactly you’re trying to achieve. When done right it’s literally the best overall lifting exercise for improving overall strength & encouraging growth. When done wrong it can be catastrophic to the body causing terrible injury. . My overall plan when I train to use as few extra help as possible for maximum overall benefit. So no belts, straps, wraps etc. this forces me to be extra careful with form, meaning lifting slightly less weight but better overall gains and safety! In this case I’m also adding difficulty using an overhand grip instead of a reverse (mixed) grip... hence the reason the bar is falling out of my hands for this final set (of 6). Her mother died immediately after giving birth to Gift. The whereabouts of her father was not known and later it was verified he also died. She knows no other relatives. She was put in the care of a foster parent who already had 10 other children in their home ~ all of whom had been abandoned. Coming to Children of Uganda has truly transformed this sweet girl’s life. Back at it today after my 2 week break and I’m so happy to be in a routine again!! Although I said I wouldn’t I weighed myself yesterday and I’ve gained 1.7kg in the 2 weeks off which isn’t bad at all considering how much I’ve eaten 😂 Cardio class tonight then back into my 5 day split tomorrow! It’s the first day of my 4 week cut too so I’m excited to see where I’ll be when I finish it 🙌🏼👏🏼

Can’t get enough of these @ryderwear seamless shorts now the weather is getting summery!! ✨OLIVIAH10 ~ Link in bio!✨ •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• First cardio Sunday since coming back from my holiday! First of all excuse the strange marks on my face in the pics, it’s the dirty mirror and not actually on me oops 🤷🏻‍♀️ Getting some cardio in today to ease myself back into training as I’ve only gymmed twice in the last 2 weeks 😅 Really enjoyed the break and think it was really well needed but excited to get back into my 5 day split and grow some muscle 🙌🏼 I’m eating at maintenance today and then straight into my mini cut tomorrow and let’s see what I can do with that in 4 short weeks!! I’m being really strict with this cut as my last one which was a really long one I just eyeballed measurements and guessed cals which worked but I want to see the difference in tracking using measurements and also making sure I track milk in tea etc for a more accurate representation of my cut. I haven’t weighed myself since coming back from holiday and don’t plan to until the end of my first mini cut week (so next Sunday) but I assume I’ve put on around 3/4kg whilst being away etc because I’ve lost my lil 2 pack abs for the foreseeable future and just feel fluffier in general. Some of this will be fat gained however the majority of the extra weight will be water weight which I will start to lose over the next few days as I’m training again and will be eating in a deficit! I haven’t been to the gym yet but once I have been I’ll get my cardio Sunday story posted and highlighted 🙌🏼👏🏼 Happy Sunday everyone 🥰
