Oh. My. Goodness. I’m obsessed with these huge flatbreads from @cutdacarb. I first tried these at @taylormadetasty’s event that she and other members of @socalfriends helped organize! I was fortunate enough to meet Maryam, the owner of this local company, and she generously sent me some samples. These wraps are 12 inches long and really thin. You can even cut them in half for the perfect sandwich wrap (1fsp). They’re made of totally normal ingredients that you would expect from a bread product and therefore taste like bread without any of the bitterness that so many other low carb wraps and breads have. They’re #nongmo, totally soy free and honestly kind of addictive! My family and I have been using these in so many ways - our favorite so far is cutting them small and making chips! They crisp perfectly and in only 5 minutes! Swipe over to see some chips and a dip I made- the whole plate is 3 #smartpoints. . . For the chips: . . ▫️Cut 1 CutDaCarb wrap (2fsp) into small pieces (I used a pizza cutter and I’ve made these anywhere from 16-24 pieces) . ▫️Place the pieces on a parchment lined baking sheet and spray chips with oil spray (0fsp) . ▫️Bake at 350 for 5-6 minutes . ▫️Sprinkle with salt (optional) . For the dip: . ▫️Heat 1/2 cup of refried beans (0fsp) . ▫️Add 2 Tbs jarred queso (I used the #traderjoes queso which is 1fsp for 5tbs, so this was only 1 point but check your queso before making) . ▫️Add one spring of cilantro 🌱 to make it look prettier for the picture, because otherwise it looks like 💩! . . That’s it! Super easy and super satisfying for only 3 points! The chips hold up really well and can hold quite a bit of dip. . . . You can buy these online at the @cutdacarb website cutdacarb.com. Which vegetables are the best for KETO... - KETO VEGGIES AND NET CARBS by @charliedieselfitness (picture is per 100g serving) - Vegetables are an essential part of going KETO. However, some vegetables are high in sugar and don’t cut it nutritionally – so it's important to know which ones those are. Make sure to know the net carb count of the vegetables you are eating - The best type of vegetables for a ketogenic lifestyle are both high in nutrients and low in carbohydrates. It doesn't take a Bruce Banner brain to figure out which ones these are. As you can probably guess fairly easily, these are dark and leafy. Anything that resembles spinach will fall into this category and will be the best vegetable to include into dishes/meals. - If you’re looking for low-carb vegetables that aren’t leafy greens, think about the ones that grow above ground mostly from the cruciferous family. These include broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, lettuce, and cucumbers - Generally, the brighter and more colorful the vegetable, the less low-carb they are. Do your best to avoid sweet or starchy vegetables as they are high in carbohydrates. These include (but are not limited to) peas, corn, potatoes, sweet potatoes, yams, yucca, parsnips, beans, quinoa, and legumes. - As a general rule of thumb, the sweeter the vegetable is – the more sugar it has in it. Be careful careful with the amount you consume from things such as carrots, onions, and squash. There is a big difference in net carb counts between the vegetables that grow above and below ground. When you look and feel basic... in the best way possible. 🖤 (I’ve naturally lost 106lbs so far by eating low carb, high fat + highish protein and minimal sugar [keto], along with daily exercise. I started with a realistic goal of walking 5,000 steps a day, followed by 10,000 steps on a recumbent bike. Then I added in light at-home weights and slowly increased to riding a stationary bike 15 miles a day.) You don’t need a gym/ coach/ paid diet plan to fight for what we all deserve in this life. Quit being so hard on yourself, it won’t be perfect, just go!

Keto Walnut Cinnamon Empanadas!! . . . Wow! One of my absolute favorite #ketodesserts . . .They are made out of fathead dough and fried or baked then drizzled with @choczero vanilla honest syrup. Crunchy, delicious, and 2 gm net carb per empanada. . . Recipe: Fat head dough: 1.5 c preshredded mozzarella 0.75 c almond flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 egg beaten Put all ingredients together except for egg in microwave for 1 min. Stir then put an additional 30 sec. Mix well then add egg, and knead till you have the dough . . Roll between 2 sheets of parchment and cut out circles (I did mine small) and put filling close and fry in hot coconut oil. . .
