LATE POST - Please read! September is a special month for me in many ways. Last month was a year since becoming a qualified personal trainer and my how i've grown in that time! I started working for Nuffield Health as a receptionist originally and had never stepped foot in a gym till then. I started to have a passion for fitness and wanted it to be more prominent in my life, so I started studying for my level 2 and 3 whilst working full time and juggling other responsibilties. It wasn't easy but I stuck it out as I could honestly see myself doing this as a lifestyle and career. In the last year i've absorbed so much, the world of fitness is an ever lasting learning experience and i'm so grateful to be in this industry. It was also my Nuffieldaversary last month marking 4 years of me being in the company! Moral of the story if you want something, go get it! Went for a lil leg session last night following my health check, can confirm horrible DOMS today 😂 . . . 🤩Fast walk on highest incline for warm up (is dis cardio 😒 #notinthetop10% #perfectionist #help #tonbridgegrammaryudodistome ) . 🤩glute activation - banded bodyweight hip thrusts x 20, banded clams x 15 each side MAINTAIN TENSION THE WHOLE TIME IT WILL HURT THAT WAY . 🤩 seated leg press- 5x 12 . 🤩banded hip thrusts, try and pause at the top- 4 x 12 . 🤩seated hamstring curl- 5x 12 . 🤩seated leg extension- 5 x 12 . . . At this point we probably should have continued but hungry and also hungry so didn’t cos hungry 🤓 . . . as always pls take with a pinch of salt cos I’m NOT A PT (however if you need some help with communication holla at ya gal I actually know how to do that) . . . Happy Sunday ft me and my concentration face 💜 Today has been a day of organising and getting stuff done. In all honesty I’ve had a bit of a busy week which has resulted in more stress than I would’ve liked. Soooo today, as well as taking some time off this evening, I’ve been prepping for the week ahead in order to avoid any unnecessary stress. Here’s some of my favourite tips ⬇️ • Pack a bag the night before, lay out clothes, meal prep food and generally take any stress out of your morning routine. That way you can get up and just get on with your day rather than have to make any decisions before a busy day. 👚 • Take a breather in stressful situations. Saying or doing anything impactful whilst stressed will never have a positive outcome, so don’t let the pressure get on top of you, take a step back and remove yourself from the situation if needs be. 🧘🏼‍♀️ • Take some time off every day. Have some time away from emails, a screen or people. Enjoy a walk, do some yoga, read a book, take a bath and just relax. It’ll help to reset and put things into perspective. 6PM Sunday and that means for me it’s time to plan 👊🏻⁣ ⁣ Plan for the new week! ⁣ ⁣ Inspired by @realcraigballantyne I map out every Sunday exactly how my perfect week will look! 🔥 ⁣ Monday⁣ - here it is... 0600 wake⁣ 0605 shower⁣ 0610 meditate⁣ 0625 coffee and breakfast shake⁣ 0630 laptop opened and work begins⁣ 0840 walk to the gym⁣ 0900 insta content filming⁣ 1130-1430 PT⁣ 1430-1700 training and eat⁣ 1700-2000 PT⁣ 2000-2200 me time⁣ ⁣ Want to make significant change??? Whether that be business, your health, relationships, whatever... create a structure and map out your day! This is going to allow you to move that big rock further and further towards the big goal each day.⁣ ⁣ This structure to my Monday is going to set my week up for success!!!!
