JUST IN TIME FOR WEEKEND BRUNCH Who wouldn't want to start their day eating these!? Ingredients: Large handful of baby spinach 1 banana 1/2 cup self-raising flour 1 tbs maple syrup drop of vanilla extract 1/3 cup milk 1 egg 1 heaped tbs almond meal 2 cups strawberries, sliced Yoghurt of choice for layering Shredded coconut and maple syrup to serve Method: 1. Create a star from the banana (keeping the leftover for the batter) and set aside 2. To create pancake batter add spinach, remaining banana, flour, syrup, vanilla, milk, egg and almond meal in a mixing bowl 3. Blend using a stick blender until smooth 4. Heat a non-stick fry pan on medium-high heat 5. Spoon varying amounts of batter (you need large, medium and small pancakes to make the tree) into the pan, cook on one side until bubbles start to form and then flip to cook the other side. Repeat to finish batter 6. Create the tree by placing the largest pancake on a plate, top with 1-2 tbs yoghurt and some sliced strawberries 7. Repeat step 6, slowly building up to the smallest pancake 8. If you consistently berate and belittle yourself during your journey, you are going to struggle. Instead, we must try and celebrate our small victories, compliment ourself. If you put shit in a machine, don't expect roses to come out. ## TRY - Saying one good thing you've done every day. ## PERSPECTIVE ## How you frame an event is of the utmost importance. If you believe that when you do not hit your calorie deficit that you have failed, then yes, you have. Instead - view it as a learning opportunity that you must meal prep to avoid your tendencies to go for easy eating options. ## TRY - Viewing each event that does not further your goal in that moment as a learning experience to make you better for next time. Only by doing this can we avoid the trap of feeling like we failed. ## IF YOU CAN REMEMBER, WORRY, OR TIE YOUR SHOE LACES, YOU CAN SUCCEED. ## You have the tools available to succeed. You are not broken. You are not a failure. You just do not have the right frame of mind or image of yourself to succeed. YET. ## TRY - Remembering that your success is directly tied in with how you view yourself and how you view ## Folks this is one of the most important posts I think I'll make. I hope it's helpful in achieving your goals going into the new year.

This is usually taken into the hands of a willing coach his/her athlete according with main priority races.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Is a challenging thing to achieve truly, especially if an athlete has several goals for their season in mind (I.e. Indoors and outdoors or Fa Cup final and champions league final).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There are a great number of factors that can impact upon when an athlete truly peaks and reaches their potential. These can impact upon training setup etc.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ How can you best peak 👀- Well by organising a year segmentally, you can help this. I remember I used to feel this deep loathing for my body like it was working against me. The more I tried to diet and extreme workout, the more it rebelled! It had let me down! At times I even felt like it was trying to punish me!! Like I was never going to have the life I wanted because my body wouldn’t let me! ⁣ ⁣ That was a long time ago but I still remember how it felt to be at war with my body every, damn, day! I was at war with it when I was thin, at war with it when I was fat, angry with it for getting injuries through extreme workouts and furious with it for making me so darn hungry all the time.⁣ ⁣ The biggest mind shift I ever had after a lifetime of this war was that what if my body wasn’t letting me down? What if I was letting my body down? I don’t think I ever gave it what it needed back then. I didn’t let it rest, I didn’t feed it enough, got angry with it all the time. I actually treated it worse than I would any living creature! Seriously!⁣ ⁣ Once I started to listen to it and give it what it needed everything changed! Being at war with your body is no way to live. It just needs what it needs. Respecting those needs is an important responsibility and a gift!⁣ ⁣ Eat enough! Learn to listen to it. Think of it as this living, breathing thing rather than horrible pile of cellulite.⁣ ⁣ It’s time to end the war and start to change your thinking towards it. Weight loss doesn’t have to be hard and horrible! It can be easy, rewarding and fun but it all depends on where you are coming from with it.
