Just capturing real life with this chick...⠀ ⠀ I recently had a chat with a few people who mentioned going on vacation or being out of their norm fitness routine made them anxious...⠀ ⠀ Yall... WHY!? ⠀ ⠀ Your routine should allow you to enjoy LIFE. ⠀ ⠀ It should allow you to eat out with friends last minute...⠀ ⠀ It should allow you to enjoy a treat you looked forward to...⠀ ⠀ There is a difference between what you do consistently and what you do on an occassion. ⠀ ⠀ As @mindpump has stated it...⠀ Youre not "cheating" on a diet.⠀ ...and if youre diet requires cheating then youre in a relationship with food and thats the problem. ⠀ ⠀ Instead...⠀ 1. Move your body. Movement on vaca wont look like your normal gym routine, it can be lots of walking, sports with the kids, trying new things, exploring a city.⠀ 2. Choose your non negotiables with food. Ex. I choose to not feel like crap from my food so if I indulge in a treat, its going to be gluten free. Also keep in mind that this is not your everyday diet, youre not ruining anything.⠀ 3. Start the day with protein and quality fats, balance that blood sugar! ⠀ 4. Save your treats for something youre looking forward to...⠀ 5. Its okay to say "NO"... just because your on vaca doesnt mean you have to eat something you dont want to.

Just some organic sautéed beef with zucchini noodles. 👍🏻 #goodfood I’ve been trying to bring my iron levels up since I’m borderline anemic, so I’ve been eating organic beef once a week. Heme iron derived from animal protein is the best absorbed although other forms of iron such as iron bisglycinate is also really well absorbed and non-constipating. Best to get a supplement with iron bisglycinate, vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin), folic acid (methyltetrahydrofolate), and vitamin C (ascorbic acid). These other vitamins help with the absorption of the iron. This 12 years young dinner establishment do not have a menu - you tell them what you can / don’t want to eat and they surprise you with whatever is in season and available locally. Super cool concept! Taking ‘chefs choice’ to a whole new level! . It was a wonderful experience I want to now do again and again! 🙂 . I loved eating their food tonight, as it was so fresh and full of flavour and they told me the fish in my second course meal was line and pole caught (not from nasty trawlers!) and their potatoes were organic. They even catered to my dairy and gluten free food choices. Another great point to rave about was their amazing customer service. ♥️ . REPOST: @ambethdani - - - - - - Fresh Tuna Salad 🌱 Isn't this pretty!!? {Perfect for make-ahead lunches for the week!} Makes about 4 servings  Ingredients: 2 cups brown rice, cooked  2 cans tuna in spring water  1 cup frozen organic peas, defrosted  2 red peppers, diced  1 cup cherry tomatoes, cut into halves  5 green onions, finely sliced  a bunch of parsley or cilantro, chopped  1/2 cup kalamata olives  juice 1 or 2 fresh lemons (your preference) 2 Tbsps extra-virgin olive oil  Instructions: Place the cooked brown rice in a large mixing  bowl.
