Recipe of the day _ _ _ A soup course is regularly present at the beginning of most Turkish meals. Nutritional Benefits Lentils are an excellent source of B vitamins, iron. Ingredients 30 grams red lentils 10 grams onions 10 grams carrots 10 grams tomato paste 1 teaspoon cumin Half teaspoon paprika (optional) Half teaspoon thyme or oregano Half teaspoon black pepper (optional) 100 ml vegetable broth 1 teaspoon olive oil Salt as needed Water as needed Red Pepper flakes for garnishing (optional) Nutritional Value Calories: 169 kcal Protein: 9.2 grams Fat: 4.9 grams Carbohydrates: 22.7 grams Method 1.Pick through your lentils for any foreign debris, rinse them 2 or 3 times, drain, and set aside. 2.Chop onions and carrots finely. 3.In a large pot over medium-high heat, sauté the olive oil and the onions with a pinch of salt for 3 minutes. Add the carrots and sauté for another 3 minutes. 4.Add the tomato paste and stir it around for around 1 minute. Now add the cumin, paprika, mint, thyme, black pepper, and red pepper and sauté for 10 seconds to bloom the spices. Immediately add the lentils, water, broth, and salt. Bring the soup to a boil. 5.After it has come to a boil, reduce heat to medium, cover the pot halfway, and cook for 15-20 minutes or until the lentils have fallen apart and the carrots are completely cooked. 6.After the soup has cooked and the lentils are tender, blend the soup either in a blender or simply use a hand blender to reach the consistency you desire. Taste for seasoning and add more salt if necessary. 7.Serve the soup with a drizzle of paprika oil, wedges of lemon, and extra mint and red pepper for everyone to customize to their taste. I wanted to share this with you, I know i’m not an expert but I had so much trouble with my breath technique because I’m asthmatic and it caused so many stress of how my breath was short. One time I read about it and I tried it once and it became my daily habit, it’s called Equal Time for Breathing in and Breathing Out. In this exercise, you'll match how long you breathe in with how long you breathe out. Over time, you'll increase how long you're able to breathe in and out at a time. 1. Close your eyes if they're open. 2. Sit comfortably on the floor or in a chair. 3. Breathe in through your nose. As you do it, count to five. 4. Breathe out through your nose to the count of five. 5. Repeat several times. Once you feel comfortable with breaths that last five counts, increase how long you breathe in and breathe out. You can work up to breaths that last up to 10 counts. P.S: the video is fast forwarded so you don’t get bored 😂

Put 1-2 ml of oil in a pan, add the onion and cook for 1-3 minutes. Pour the eggs in the pan, put the mushrooms on the eggs, let it cook until its aaalmost done- but not- on the top then put the cheese. Put a lid on, let the heat for 1-2 more minutes. Stop the heat and let it chill there for 1-2 more minutes. Devoir with some fresh veggies🥒🌶🍅🥬 and/or some toasted bread🍞 and avocado🥑 💛

Dia kepingin nurunin berat badan, keliatan dari raut wajahnya. Tapi dng informasi sekitarnya yg ngm diet hrus kayak gt, dia bilang susah aku itu. . Dealing with evening sweet cravings 🍫🍫 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Something I commonly get asked is the best way to stop sweet cravings on an evening or the best food to eat when you get them 🧐 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here are the reasons behind why you might be getting sweet cravings and how to beat them ⬇️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1. You’re not eating enough in the day - being overly restrictive by not eating enough or cutting our food groups leads to cravings which are more likely to hit you when you are at home in the evening. Therefore, ensure you are following a balanced diet with lots of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, healthy fats and protein & spend some time prepping lunch and snacks to take with you 😇 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2. It’s a habit - sometimes we have a habit of eating chocolate on an evening, it’s just something we have always done from when we were a child 🤷🏻‍♀️.
