Baked organic chicken breast (Season breasts with @kouzinifoods Italian seasoning which is currently out of stock but I’ll update you guys once it’s available!) + dash sea salt. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 163F. Pair with crispy zucchini rounds and asparagus (season with @traderjoes new umami seasoning + pepper and Italian seasoning. Let’s talk about ANALYSIS PARALYSIS! the reason so many people never reach their goals is because they JUST. DON’T. START! — It’s never the ‘right time’ - they don’t have all their equipment yet, they still need to order supplements, they’re too busy so they won’t be able to stick to a schedule 100%, etc etc etc. They say to themselves “when I do it, when I start working out, I want to do it right. It needs to be perfect” and let me tell you this is a load of SHIT! because the time is never going to be right, or perfect, and you’re never ever going to feel like it - motivation does not fall into your lap, you need to SEEK it out and fight for it. You’re just going to keep procrastinating until it becomes a distant memory of a goal. — Life Is crazy and schedules are unpredictable - you are most likely not going to stick 100% to the same routine week over week. But doing SOMETHING is better than doing NOTHING! Whether you have 5 minutes in a day, or 15, or 30, or an hour - DO SOMETHING WITH THAT! Stop overanalyzing and seriously, just do it. Get active. Don’t know where to start? Overwhelmed by how many workouts and videos there are online? Pick a random one, flip a coin, if it lands in heads you do it. If you don’t like it, find another next time. Take a class at your gym. Go for a jog, or do burpees for 10 minutes (that shit is hard)! — At the end of the day, it all comes down to mind over matter. It’s you vs. you - the question is, which YOU is going to win?

KNOW - EATING HEALTHY - Eating “healthy” isn’t the be all end all when it comes to weight loss. For example, you may be eating healthy, but consuming a lot of calorie-dense foods, like olive oil. One tablespoon adds 120 calories to whatever light salad you may be eating for lunch. - If you have kids, it’s easy to finish food off their plate. I don’t have any but whenever I’m around my niece or nephew I’ve been known to sneak a chicken nugget or two off their plates. - If you eat healthy, but then go drink a ton of alcohol on the weekend, you’re setting yourself up for failure. I’m not saying you can’t have a drink and still reach your fitness goals. But binge drinking most of the weekend simply won’t work no matter how clean you eat during the week. - Have an awesome Sunday peeps! My butt is nice now and it was still nice before. . Bigger doesn’t mean better. Leaner doesn’t mean better. More muscle doesn’t mean better. . No one’s body is better or worse than another. It’s just different. And not everyone wants the same look as another. . That’s why you shouldn’t compare yourself to someone else. Why you shouldn’t strive to have another person’s body. . Learn to be your own body goals. . It takes time, consistency, and a lot of work both mentally and physically. But it’s 100% worth it. . And on that note, I love building booties lol . An oldie but a goodie! Here's something I haven't tried in a while. Might be time to get back on the sweet potato toast bandwagon. Another great way to get more veggies into your diet. A great breakfast alternative or a great snack, topped with your favourite toppings. - - Sweet potatoes are a great source of Vitamin A, beta carotene which may be helpful in improving vision, cardiac health, help to stabilise blood sugar and boost immune system. Sweet potatoes are high in fibre, helping to improve digestion. Sweet potatoes are also high in antioxidants including vitamin E, vitamin K, calcium and Iron, which are essential to prevent and reduce damage to cells caused by free radicals. - - Have you tried sweet potato toast yet? We make time for the things that are important to us. ~ Just like we arrange time to hang out with our friends & family, squeeze in an appointment at the nail salon, or driving out of the way just to get out favorite coffee. ~ Think about it this way- if you're spending $10 a day on food, each day of the work week, that's $2500 a year. Do you powerlift, bodybuild, CrossFit, cycle, swim, or simply walk? How many days a week can you workout and for how long? Do you have any food restrictions or allergies? How many times a day can you eat? Do you have to cook for your family as well? Do you have any health conditions? (allergies, skin issues, digestive issues, diabetes, hypertension, autoimmune disease, thyroid disorder, sleep apnea, etc.) _____________________________ The answers to all of these questions are vital in building a SUSTAINABLE plan for your health and/or body composition goals. Veganism is not the answer for everyone. Carnivore/keto is not the answer for everyone. All sugar and grains aren’t evil. Fat and cholesterol are not evil. If you find yourself falling into these extremist view points I encourage you to take a step back and think logically about the specific situation you are addressing. Different strategies work for different people... key word, STRATEGY, which means breaking down the situation and analyzing all the factors in front of you to come up with a sensible plan for that individual. You don’t just vomit out words like Keto or whole30 or plant based or carnivore or vegan just because you personally like that way of eating or read some blog written by someone you highly respect. ____________________________ The ultimate message I want people to get from this is to THINK. What’s your go to diet plan? I’d like to hear from you! - With so many diets out there what works for you? How did you get started? Was there any set backs or things that did not work for you? - Intermittent fasting is my go to diet, I use the 16:8 method as I find it easier for it to become a daily habit and there’s less calorie tracking to worry about. Instead I track number of meals and time of eating window. - I think we all have a diet we find easier but it’s important to be open to other methods. The key to all diet plans is to track consistently and accurately! If you aren’t losing weight it’s likely you aren’t in a calorie deficit. It doesn't seem that important to regurgitate "what is" as it is for me to predict and forecast with my words and thoughts, what I would like my world to be. I look for the wonderful. I hunt for the positive perspective. And I constantly seek my good and joyful experiences. We take nothing from this life to the beyond, but we do get to have a wonderful and beautiful ride if we want one. This is my wish for myself and everyone that I encounter. This has been a game-changer for me and it’s hard to believe that something so simple could make such an impact! We CHOOSE how we FEEL! Emotions are temporary and can be triggered by so many things.... sometimes I simply wake up feeling emotional! My experiences have brought me just about every emotion imaginable. But I have discovered the power in recognizing that I can still choose how I FEEL! I have learned to pause, look at the emotions that I am experiencing and then DECIDE if that’s how I WANT to feel. I’m not saying it’s EASY...somedays wiping away the tears to choose joy can take everything you’ve got! But living a happy life is about DECIDING to live a happy life. (I have empathy for mental illness and that’s not what I am referring to here). I have begun a practice of starting each morning by writing down how I want to FEEL that day ...and it has made SUCH a difference! If you’re a bit of a control freak like I am, you’ll love knowing that this is one area that you can completely control . Besides, happy just feels better. What’s your word for today?!!!

People who are looking for an inexpensive protein source will find tubs of strictly whey protein concentrate with a lower price tag. Therefore Whey is a great starting point for everyone. Some people will find though that they have a hard time digesting the concentrates and will end up feeling a little gassy and bloated. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✳️ CASEIN - Casein is a slow digesting protein that gets broken down over the course of several hours. So many people like to use it right before bed so your body keeps absorbing and utilizing the nutrients even while you sleep. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✳️ ISOLATE - Isolates are one of the quickest absorbing proteins. However people will find this source of protein to be a bit on the expensive side (more-so than whey concentrates). Due to the removal of lactose most people will find it easier to digest. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ‼️ BONUS POINT - Seeing as I’m discussing absorption speeds, there is another type of protein that is even faster digesting than even the isolate - HYDROLYSATE protein. But that’s also even more expensive than the others. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔸 MY OPINION 🔸 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For most people I don’t really think it makes that much of a difference which one you get, go for a standard whey protein, that will generally do the trick. You see, this IIFYM movement that has taken over the internet saying “you can eat whatever you want, as long as you to your calories and proteins”. Is right in some sense, yes that statement is true - However, most people fail using that strategy because they think it means, eating pop tarts and protein shakes all day (that’s an exaggeration but you get my point). Most people forget that when it comes to losing fat or gaining muscle, there’s another variable that should be controlled. - That’s HUNGER. You see, when you’re trying to lose fat, you’ll most likely end up hungry sometimes, at those moments it’s key to have some low calorie high filling foods, so you can stay full until your next big meal. I got you! Check out the left side of this graph! - When it comes to building muscle and gaining weight, it’s a trick to eat more less filling foods so you can eat more food. I remember the times when I had to eat 3.6k calories and I had to eat almost until I was vomiting. That’s not funny. What did I mess up? I ate super filling foods.. What can you do to avoid this? Eat less filling, high calorie foods, the ones on the right!
