Been going super hard with the mace this past week...way too much to capture in 1 post. Hence, I’ll let it bleed out slowly each day this week to avoid overload. . Monday’s have forever been one of my favorite days of the week, and since moving to NY, this love has reached new heights!💕 Monday’s are now a day away from the gym, and I’ve been taking my workouts outside while the weather is nice - 😎something I rarely did back in Minnesota. I think the lack of “space” indoors in New York has given me a new appreciation for exploring outside. Trev and I live a block from the Hudson riverfront here in Manhattan, and the paths are beautiful! So much nature at the edge of the city. The weeping willows (my favorite tree) are abundant! Not to mention lots of room for my mind to wander and get creative with workouts! Here is just a snippet of the fun I had today. Pas le temps de t’entrainer? C’est probablement faux!! . . Parce que premièrement, on trouve toujours le temps pour les choses qu’on met en priorité et deuxièmement, en ce qui a trait à l’entraînement, ce n’est pas ‘the longer the better’! . . Ton entraînement peut se faire n’importe où, n’importe quand avec aucun équipement en 20 minutes! Tant que l’intensité y est et que les exercices sont adaptés à tes objectifs. . . Je te présente donc un circuit à haute intensité focusant surtout sur les jambes et l’endurance. Voici les exercices: . - Squat to side kicks - Squat jumps - Alt lunges forward and reverse - Alt jump lunges - Alt lateral lunges - Alt lateral one leg jumps - Calves raises in sumo squat position - Quick feet in-in-out-out 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼 . . Fais chaque exercice pendant 30 sec à 1 minute sans repos. Prends 1 à 2 minutes de repos à la fin du circuit au complet et refais celui-ci 3 à 4 fois pour un training optimal qui t’amènera certainement de bons résultats (et une sueur ou 2 😰💪🏼). . . Workout buddy hubby 🥰 Outdoor workout with resistance bands Time for some leg workout, after a nice run and a few stairs workout 🏃🏽‍♀️💨 Find yourself a nice little space and some resistance bands and get to work 💪🏽 . I started with the extra heavy resistance band but that one is nooo joke 🥵😅 . 1️⃣ right leg in the front don’t let the resistance band get loose, keep the same tension In between both legs at all time. Front then back and switch legs 2️⃣ side to side, keep tension in between the legs, you can be half down and get super low but always keeping the same tension. 3️⃣ single leg lift, resist the tension, you can finish this one for a few seconds hold at the top for each leg. 4️⃣ double side step, also works on your coordination.. witch I’m getting better at and working hard on 😂 5️⃣ back and hubby was doing side pulse and high knee marche 6️⃣ hip extension one way and walking high knee and standing high knee for the 💍 Who loves to workout with their workout buddy ? 🥰 . . I’m back 🤩❗️ . Vacation time was amaziiiiiing 🤩💯🇫🇷 . I left LA telling my self I will go workout every day find gyms where I can buy a pass to go work out and stay on track not eat to much “bad food” aka 🥐 🥖 🍫 But let’s be real... I got there and I said screw it, I’ll enjoy my self I’ll enjoy the food I miss I’ll enjoy not counting my macros, not worrying about knowing what’s in my plate, what are the ingredients in that meal etc. So I did that, enjoyed to the fullest. .
