El ayuno intermitente. Una practica muy extendida, sin apenas información científica al respecto que respalde de forma fehaciente su uso. Muchos hablan de sus ventajas, otros de sus inconvenientes, pero al fin y al cabo si puede ayudarnos a la pérdida de grasa. Así que bueno, al menos intentaré orientaros sobre cómo hacerlo de una forma fácil y sin que os metáis en líos 😜 pero os aconsejo que acudais a un profesional médico antes de meteros de lleno en este tipo de dietas sobre todo si padeces de alguna afección, como por ejemplo diabetes. Ayuno 16/8 Esto significa que ayunaremos 16h y comeremos durante 8h. Podéis seguir el sistema que os pongo en la imagen, o cambiar las franjas horarias. Como veis desde que nos levantamos hsta la hora de las comidas podemos tomar liquidos naturales como un té o un café, solo uno, no es bueno abusar. I had the best weekend! ☀️ The weather was gorgeous, I enjoyed plenty of Pimm's 🍹 & chocolate 🍫 and I spent time with my favourite people! I look back on my weekend and am so grateful for how far I have come mentally 🙌 Even Easter last year I would have been riddled with guilt from my indulgent behaviour and would have been 'jumping back on the wagon' this week with restrictive eating.. and we all know how well that works out 🙄 Instead, I'm feeling happy for the memories that I created and grateful for the food I enjoyed. It's not every weekend the family is together celebrating fun times! I started this week with the mindset that this is like any normal week and I will treat it as such! I'm actually in the middle of hosting a free workshop for mindful eating this week, if you want to join in! I'm sharing what I have learnt on my journey with food and going into what has helped me to switch my mindset from a negative one to a happy and healthy one! MUST READ!!! . • @marissaroyfitness #MythbusterMonday . Myth: “If you’re looking to get fit, you should focus on weight loss first, THEN start lifting weights.” FAAALLLSSSEEE!! 🙅🏽‍♀️🙅🏽‍♀️🙅🏽‍♀️ . Many conversations I have with inquiring clients (especially women) involve them asking me to help them focus on weight loss first before adding in resistance training - essentially eating very little and doing tons of cardio before picking up a dumbbell or barbell. My answer is always a hard NO. . Why? . The PROBLEM: this is actually the LEAST efficient way to get to your goals. . Doing excess amounts of cardio + under eating is the BEST way to burn off your muscle mass, therefore lowering your metabolic rate, making it harder to create a calorie deficit (and lose weight). . It’s also the best way to practically guarantee you rebound after you finish your fat loss phase because your metabolic rate will be lower, so going back to “normal” eating will make it MUCH easier for you to gain fat back (versus if you had been lifting weights and strengthening your metabolism). . The SOLUTION: Lift weights, eat to fuel your body with the right macronutrient ratios (and simultaneously put your calories in a deficit, but nothing absurdly low), and use cardio as a TOOL to supplement your weight loss. . START with resistance training as a part of your regimen and you’ll be able to lose fat and build muscle at the same time, avoiding the “skinny fat” look and getting tight and toned. . THE TAKEAWAY: The RIGHT and most efficient way to lasting results is the UN-glamorous way. Hard work, dedication and smart choices over a long period of time. .
