Conventional Deadlift is a stronger lift with higher demands on the lifters mobility, working through the entire Posterior Chain (Hamstrings, Glutes, Lumbar, Lats). The Sumo Deadlift is a generally lighter lift requiring less demand on the mobility of the lifter as itโ€™s easier with the wide leg position to keep your body upright with the hips close to the bar and the Glutes low. Iโ€™ve started cutting down on meat the past few months. Not as a conscious decision but just because I havenโ€™t felt like Iโ€™ve wanted it as much. Only about a year ago I was eating meat for breakfast, lunch and dinner๐Ÿ˜ณ now I couldnโ€™t imagine doing that! I still have chicken for lunch and maybe one steak a week. My digestion has improved dramatically and I now only get spots after a weekend of eating processed sugars/dairy. The employee route definitely has its perks, and this post is NOT about criticising it because I had a great time at DLL and met some amazing people and clients. . I can honestly say, itโ€™s much easier being an employee for various reasons, which Iโ€™ll get into another time. . Going down the self employed route, I had to do many things differently and my mindset certainly had to change! . Obviously, you will earn more money being self employed, which is what attracts many PTโ€™s to follow that path in the first place. But.... and itโ€™s a big but...... .
