Change your posture, change your mood. Bad posture while sitting at work is about a much more than neck or back pain. Our body and mind are in constant dialogue. Many think the body does whatever the mind asks, but it is a two way street. The shape or form our body takes has a massive influence on a hormonal level which alters our mood. Understanding this exposes the emotion behind the posture. Next time you sit in a bad position ask yourself what mood goes along with that position, odds are its a bad mood. 😞 Simple exercise... What do you see is the picture? A man working in bad posture, perhaps. Now cover his laptop with your finger, and look again. What do you see? We see anxiety, depression, heaviness, tension, shallow breathing, upset stomach, sadness. A whole different story. 😯 Google search bad posture, then google search depression. The shapes are the same. If you take on the shape of an emotion you will feel that emotion - negative OR positive.
