Eaaaaaasy Beuge gewesen ✅ 5 x 120 kg gingen echt leicht hoch. Ich bin erstaunt, wieviel mehr ich durch ein wenig Kniebandage rausholen kann. Beuge lief generell die letzte Zeit nicht sehr gut, weshalb ich mehr als erstaunt war, dass es bei dem geplanten 1 x 4 mit 118 kg ein doch eher leichtes 1 x 5 mit 120 kg wurde. It was one of those days that I just did NOT want to come in. On the way to the gym I was just trying to find an excuse to not go. I was grumbling the whole work out and just whining in my head. It was supposed to be an easy deload day but it was hard. I forced myself to get through it and I hated every second. These days just hit you when you least expect it. Today I managed it okay but some days I don’t. I even started questioning why I train for this sport. I’m glad I forced myself because in the end it’s gonna mean something. Being in Bali really gave me perspective. I was tempted to write about it but I won’t. I had such a great time with my best friend in the whole world. I am so privileged to have this life that I live. I feel so thankful for everyday including today. I knew my body was strong but my mind was not and this is what held me back. It was like the devil and the angel on my shoulders, My body said “come on Sam you can do this!” But my mind said “you don’t need to do this your already fit!” Truth of the matter was I wasn’t fit I wasn’t strong I was out of breath when running around with my kids in the garden! Or when trying to lift something heavy I could just about manage it but with a real struggle, I had to convince my mind that I need to get fit and healthy not just for me but for my children, I want to be fit and healthy for them I want to play with them I want to run with them I don’t want to give up! And the first time I started my workout I felt bloody AMAZING!! It was like having a new lease of life! I was full of energy, I was happy I was sore 😂 but I was happy, and I’ve never looked back. So if you are looking to get fit and healthy don’t try to convince your mind JUST DO IT! Attenzione, concentrazione, ritmo e velocità. Very pleased with my squats, it felt supereasy for once. I guess I am making progress despite the frenzy of travelling back and forth and throwing my diet out of the window.
