Do you enjoy your training this much? ⁣ (Watch till the end💃)⁣ ⁣ It may surprise you to know that when I first tried crossfit I didn’t like lifting🙅🏼‍♀️⁣ ⁣ I came from a ‘fitness’ background (running, swimming & the usual ‘gym bunny’ type workouts, spin, boot camps, pump, step classes etc, throw in some indoor netball& dragon boating).⁣ ⁣ Enter me trying crossfit.. I remember my first class. We did snatch (shown here), wall balls & ring dips and maybe some running. Snatch, it was awkward as f*ck. Wall balls, I hit myself in the face a few times. And ring dips, well, even now they’re not my jam. ⁣ ⁣ I left my first session not that puffed or sweaty because I sucked at all the movements. I didn’t feel like I got a good workout. I didn’t want to get ‘bulky” from lifting heavy and had no desire to grunt & throw around weights (my perception of Olympic lifting and CrossFit at the time).⁣ ⁣ Following this I promptly went back to my gym bunny routine.⁣ ⁣ Fast forward a few years..⁣ ⁣ Why I (now) like lifting..🏋️‍♀️ ⁣ ⁣ It’s hard. And I don’t mean physically (ok yes physically). But more technically hard. And mentally. ⁣ ⁣ You have to work at it. ⁣ ⁣ There are so many things that can (and do) go wrong. Approx. 1million things to focus on ⁣and think about in a~10 sec lift. ⁣ ⁣ Some days it’s great. Others it’s not. ⁣ ⁣ It teaches you to concentrate. Focus. Be patient. Reflect. Learn lessons. And put in the work. Again, and again. ⁣ ⁣ You learn to deal with things not always going your way. As much as you may want and visualise them to.⁣ ⁣ And, you must learn to enjoy the process. You can’t be entirely focused on the outcome (eg: the weight you “want to lift”), because some days that won’t happen. ⁣ ⁣ I haven’t been able to lift the last couple months. And it made me realise how much I love it and what it gives me beyond “a workout”. ⁣ ⁣ It’s something no amount of burpees, running, skipping etc can give you. I mean yea I love me some burpees😁 but you don’t get the same pay off you do from catching a perfect lift🙌🏼⁣ ⁣ And, for the record, I didn’t get bulky from lifting. The opposite in fact. I found some abs & look a lot better than cardio bunny Jane🤷‍♀️😅

We had a deal on my opening weight and then he could choose any weights for the following 2 lifts! #путь #сотня И снова мои любимые гантельки...90 кг уже более уверенно, мал по мало двигаемся вперёд!!! . . . Каждый тренировочный день заставляю себя идти в зал...и снова браться за железо и тягать, тягать ...пока есть силы...зачем? Ответа четкого дать наверное не смогу...это как почистить зубы с утра, или позавтракать...все это стало больше чем просто хобби...организм требует нагрузок, иначе начинает хандрить и разваливаться...надо, а если надо значит надо!!! Ни каких отговорок, объяснений или оправданий...в наше время занятия спортом стало не просто каким то хобби, а чем то больше, следить за здоровьем на много дешевле и безопаснее, нежели лечиться в больнице...поэтому.ю каждый день приходиться брать свой орех в горсть и тащить его в зал, чего и Вам советую!!! И не важно есть настроение или его нет...в зале оно однозначно появиться!!!
