Having to take a break from training to help my back get better started making me go insane... literally. . Ever since the birth of my 2nd child (16 yrs ago), the daily battle against anxiety has been very real, crippling at times, and quite exhausting. I am not one to sweep things under the carpet, because anxiety is real for so many people. . Lifting is my medicine. It keeps me happy and at peace and reduces anxiety 10 fold for me. So even though I'm not at the strength I was, I'm going to compete again in March. I'm going to eat humble pie when I get on that platform, and simply enjoy the day. . Competing helps bring a focus to my training, and in turn helps me feel far less anxious. Here's to an amazing 2019. . Merry Christmas guys xx

So erstellst du deinen eigenen Trainingsplan! Gestern mal wieder eine Oberkörper Einheit mit @iifymkev & @athleticwarriors. Es ist interessant zu sehen, wie andere Athleten andere Übungen und Wdhlbereiche bevorzugen als man selbst, um das, für sich, beste Muskelgefühl / Muskelreiz zu haben. Viele meiner Freunde und selbst Klienten fragen nach meinem Plan und möchten 1zu1 trainieren wie ich. Fakt ist jedoch, dass jeder Trainierende, je nach Fitnesslevel und Trainingsziel, einen für sich ganz individuellen Trainingsplan braucht. Um zu wissen ob du mit einem Trainingsplan arbeiten kannst ist es enorm wichtig, dass du deinen Leistungsstand abschätzt & zu wissen welche Übungen du positiv und welche negativ spürst, ob dich die Länge und Intensität des Workouts über- oder unterfordern. Um den für dich perfekten Trainingsplan entwickeln zu können, gibt es einiges zu beachten: 1.Definiere dein Ziel 2.Wähle einen Trainingssplit, der dir Spaß macht 3.Such dir eine Trainingsfrequenz aus 4.Analysiere deine Leistungsfähigkeit, um zu wissen welches Volumen für jede deiner Muskelgruppe geeignet ist 5.Berüchtige deine Schwachstellen & priorisiere dadurch dein Training. Nach und nach kannst du den Plan anpassen um für dich das Beste rausfinden zu können! Excelente día para entrenar en grupo. Entrenar con personas con tus mismos objetivos te ayudará por muchas razones. 1. Tu compromiso es mayor. Sin duda una de las cosas más difíciles al iniciar un entrenamiento es hacerlo un hábito. Por eso formar parte de un equipo te ayudará comprometerte. 2. Aumenta tu motivación. Entrenar en grupo es una poderosa herramienta de motivación porque habrá personas que te harán saber que si puedes lograrlo, y cuando lo hagas se alegrarán igual que tú. 3. Mejora tu rendimiento. Dicen que la unión hace la fuerza. Cuando te cuesta realizar algún ejercicio, lo demás te ayudarán y en cuestión de tiempo notarás que has logrado cosas que no te imaginabas. 4. Es divertido. Lo mejor de todo es que puedes pasártela increíble y hacer más llevadero el ejercicio. 5. Creas vínculos. Una de las recompensas de entrenar con otras personas son los lazos de amistad y compañerismo que se crean.
