Mahalo. Mahalo. Mahalo.

When I took this photo I’d been sat alone in Strensall Common for about an hour, just soaking up the sun, watching the time go by and thinking about life. I was the happiest and most relaxed I think I’ve ever been in my life, then I noticed that there was sheep fluff caught on the wooden hand rail of the bridge I’d been sat on. I just laughed, for quite some time, at the thought of the sheep wandering over the bridge. I’m not sure why I found it so funny, but that moments probably going to stay with me forever. Life’s been pretty manic since I took this photo and I think it’s safe to say it’s starting to take its toll. After having the best month mental health wise, I’ve kinda realised this morning that in the last few days I’ve been reverting to some pretty crappy coping mechanisms that quite frankly, I thought I was already done with. So this is my reminder that I can be as happy and chilled as I was when I took this photo, I’m just gonna need to take some time out to be able to get there. And here’s your reminder to make time for you - switch off for a bit, find something that makes you laugh like an idiot and just enjoy the madness of being alive.
