Happy Monday everyone!⁣ ⁣ As a wife and a mother I am constantly multitasking. Trying to wash this and fold that. Trying to cook this abs clean that. How many of us try to do that? ⁣ ⁣ But the truth of the matter is you can’t give 109% to more than one thing at a time. One of my goals this year is to slow down and focus on one task or responsibility at a time. I’m learning more each day that I can’t do it all at once. If I’m cooking dinner, then that’s what I’m giving my attention to. If I’m working out, then that is what my full concentration is being applied to. ⁣ ⁣ It’s OKAY to ask for help! ⁣ ⁣ Now with all that said, I’m off to give my full attention to my little girl. I have had a horrendous month when it comes to food and training. For the first time in a very long time, I well and truly let myself go. I have gained a huge amount of weight/fat and this morning something triggered me to get back to the healthy lifestyle I love. So.....today I got back to it and started my day off with a circuit and then meal prepped. I've planned my food and workout sessions for the week. These meals are just my main meals, but I will also be having a good breakfast and plenty of fruit and water alongside them. I've also planned my workouts for the week, mixing it up between circuits and steady state cardio. •PART TWO• [things that saved me-if you don’t already know, this is a follow up from my last post] •nursing school. It got my mind off of my obsession with not being enough. It kept me busy and focused while allowing me to learn about others and serve others. •DELETING SOCIAL MEDIA. This was SO important for my mind and recovery from horrible behaviors. I didn’t have social media for the majority of my time in nursing school and I saw so many benefits from this. (I’ll have to do a separate post about this because I feel so passionately about it) •choosing to recognize my insecurities and embrace them. This is still SO hard for me. People who are close to me know I do this, but it has been so uplifting for me. I started to tell myself 10 positive things I genuinely liked about myself every time I had a negative thought about myself. (It also works when you have a negative thought about someone else, give them more compliments) •I stopped comparing myself to everyone around me. (This is also still hard and takes daily practice) WE 👏🏼 ARE 👏🏼 ALL 👏🏼 SO 👏🏼 DIFFERENT. I promise if you asked your best friend what her insecurities were, she could point out so many things you don’t even notice, so remember that you are your WORST critic and most people probably don’t even notice what you do! •I stopped weighing myself. This was important for me since I was addicted to the numbers. It healed me so much and I still try to only weigh myself no more than once a week. I know this is long, but I feel so passionate about this problem + I know it’s more common than we think. In the last two years I have lost 20 lbs by choosing to LOVE MYSELF FOR WHO I AM. I have become happier and confident. I have chosen to live a happy life and not a depressed or anxious one. On this page, I’m going to share my journal entries, tips for learning to love yourself, positivity, and just my passion for this. I hope you know you are beautiful on the inside and out. You are smart. You are strong. You are brave. You are kind. YOU ARE ALWAYS ENOUGH AND NEVER TOO MUCH. And never forget, you could be the ripest, juiciest peach + there’s still going to be someone who hates peaches.

•PART ONE• Hi y’all! Two years ago I made this profile as a fitness account for my own personal accountability. I was just then starting nursing school + was the unhappiest with myself I’ve ever been. Let’s fast forward to my current situation..there’s been lots of changes! I have now been a nursing school grad for almost a year + am continuing to further my education in nursing which I will graduate from in a year. In the last two years I have done a lot of learning about who I am, how to truly love myself, and how to better take care of myself. I’ll just tell you now, self love is a game CHANGER. I previously had been trying to do everything to lose weight and to get skinnier. I was a slave to the scale, my mind was more unhealthy than ever. It was the. Only. Thing. That. Mattered. To. Me. I hated myself so much. I isolated myself from friends and family in fear of what their thoughts were of me. I compared myself to every single women in my life, even the ones I was closest to which made it hard for me to want to be around them. I wouldn’t leave the house, I wouldn’t get ready, I wouldn’t even change in my own bedroom if my husband was in there. I was depressed and anxious, and I’ll share a few things that saved me. I used to never eat breakfast. (I still can't eat breakfast) From my earliest memories I would get violently sick when eating in the morning anytime before 1030. It wasn't long before I learned I was WAY better off just skipping breakfast so I would aviod getting sick. (as a kid that was embarrassing in front of the entire school bus full of students) as I got older I would bustle off about my day fueled on coffee, LOTS and LOTS of coffee. I would feel absent minded in a brain fog. I suffered from depression, what many would call add or adhd and a million other 'disorders'. Also I felt guilty. Guilty because I knew I was not setting a healthy example for my kids. Yes I made them breakfast or as they got older they made their own and yes I was there but I didn't participate in building the importance of good nutrition by example. As a mom, that bothered me. A lot. Nearly a year and a half ago I found something that helped teach guide and redirected me into a whole new light on life! And when I say recently I mean like 1-3 weeks!! Yes we all experience transformation in different ways!! But this goes to show that with making those changes you CAN experience transformation faster than you may think 😉. No it’s not a quick fix, it’s here to stay!! crazy how your body will reward and thank you when treating it properally!! @samantha_moffatt started her journey with me March 1st full of excitement determination and ready to commit herself to reaching her goals!! Although she hasn’t experienced lbs lost (which may happen when your body goes through drastic change, and why the scale isn’t always right!) she’s down 13 freaking inches!!!!!😲😲😲 #baller @kristen_palmquist85 joined me a week ago with the ultimate portion fix!! Not wanting to wait until April 1st she dove in head first!! Did I mention all she’s done is eat a ton of good food!! Dialing in her nutrition, setting positive examples for her son and giving her old bad food habits a good kick in the butt!!👊🏻 “The only thing I'm finding hard is eating all the food!! I'm too full to eat as much as its asking me too! But I'm proud. I haven't cheated once by having juice or pop and I haven't had any treats. 7 days now no juice pop or junk food. Usually at night I crave something sweet but I honestly havent craved it. My bf says because I'm consuming barely any sugar so I'm not having that sugar spike at night. Just drinking water, shakes and sometimes using that stevia water flavour. I feel that it is a big step because yes it's so easy to fall back into lazy habits and eating junk. So I am proud of the nutrition side. I havent deviated from it at all... this can't be possible... I am down 9lbs!! I weighed myself tonight. I havent even worked out yet” Anything IS possible!! We can most definitely see changes some faster than others but when you have an amazing team and support system like I do!!🤗 not bragging but come on we are!!
