✨7 months apart✨ . . . So much growth + abundance, represented by our two gothen pothos 🌿🌿 (and my hair length 😆🙌🏼) The bottom photo was taken over a week ago when some of Miracle’s (the pothos on the right) leaves started to turn yellow - we repotted him yesterday because he needed a larger home to support his continued growth 🌱 It wasn’t until we settled into this apartment last May - just over a year ago - when we set down our roots from traveling without a home for 2+ years, that we started to expand ourselves, our practices, and our business 🙏 Grateful for our plants showing us the way and grateful for the never-ending journey that continues to expand day after day, year after year ✨✨ . . . Circuit training is a great way to improve muscular endurance but also to get a lot of work done in a short time! I dont typically work abs but wanted to get a QUICK workout in today and everything else on my body is sore! I know myself well enough to know that I feel better and have better days when I start them with a workout, even if it's just a short one. Short on time or looking to work on that summa time 6 pack?? Try this ab circuit.... perform each exercise 45 seconds back to back with 15 seconds rest between each. Do them in whatever order you want.. requires no gym equipment! Elevating the side plank takes your plank to a wholeeeee notha level but if you dont have a heavy dumbbell you can do it on the floor sans weight and it will still get the job done! (Excuse the poor videography... videoing yourself is hard!) 1. Single leg side plank, elevate top leg for added bonus 2. Elevated plank with oblique twists 3. Scissor kicks into bicycles 4. V sit ups with weighted ball on legs (no idea what to call this one lol!) 5. Russian twists with medicine ball or dumbell 6. Side planks are an effective core exercise. Challenge yourself to a side plank today. Lie on your side on the mat raise up on one elbow and the side of one foot. Your whole side should be raised off the ground. Line up your body in a straight line. Keep your lower side lifted up. Don't let it droop down. Feel your abdominal muscles stay tight to support your weight. Work your way up to holding for 60 seconds or more on both sides. Modify if needed, by planking from your bent knees to one elbow. ☀️Core ☀️ __ Wearing yellow because the weather is BEAUTIFUL at the moment!! Please stay Mr Sun! 🌼🌞🌜⭐️ __ So HAPPY SUNDAY🥳 We made it through another week!! Here is a little little core circuit I filmed earlier in the week (apologies I haven’t been able to upload it sooner - I’m having super issues with iCloud which always seems to be re- downloading my videos and taking an absolute age!!) 😡But here it is 🤩: 1️⃣ Side plank crunches - hold - crunch variation x 10 2️⃣ Side plank dips x 10 3️⃣ Side plank crunches (no hold) x 10 4️⃣ Plank hold into plank twists x 10 5️⃣ Sit up variation x 10 6️⃣ Lying down oblique twists x 10 (not filmed) 7️⃣ Windscreen wipers x 10 🔑Of course you have to remember to do the other side when your doing your side planks. My right is much stronger than my left which is definitely something I need to work on! 👩🏽‍🏫 My biggest tip when doing this workout would be to WEAR TRAINERS. I foolishly left mine in the office and my feet are a little sore today from the pressure of the side planks.
