💥CORE STRENGTH VARIATIONS 💥 . ✍️Here is a nice post on some core variations off of the side plank. In all positions: lateral line + rotatory stability is addressed, which is great for athletic development/sport ✔️ .. 😈Starting off with side plank w/ resisted hip ABD + row. This one is the most advanced of the whole series. This one was a tough one for me for sure ✔️. Modifying/regressing this one by bending the bottom knee, which decreases the amount of load/challenge during the exercise. . ⚡️Next up: Side plank + Clamshell + row. This could also be used as a modification/regression. And then the last one adding a rear delt fly to the mix, which creates more of an emphasis on a rotatory moment. 🤟Core 3 Ways 🤟 . 💡I take inspiration from others all the time. When I see how other people approach their strength and conditioning, I always ask the question, "Can I use this for myself, and what about this could be beneficial to others?" Of course I always get in the lab and try things out before they show up on paper. Learning by doing is essential to being a great athlete and coach. It is why I encourage people all the time to go and try out my Awaken Training Series program when they ask me about how to coach @functional.bodybuilding. LEARN BY DOING - Starting January 7th we kick off another 12 week cycle and you should be part of our journey. . ✅These 3 core movements were taken from a few of the pages I follow on social media. I've done similar moves to all of them but not these specific ways. . 1️⃣ Adduction Biased Side Plank - Top leg rests on a bench and will make your inner thigh adductor muscles work hard along with your obliques. 2️⃣ Plank Psoas March - restoring hip functionality with psoas marches is what I've posted about here before. Usually I've shown the supine, but if you flip over and do them this way you get a great core and shoulder engaged dose. 3️⃣ L-Sit Single Leg Lifts - A great progression towards L-sits. Ich freu mich, dass ich wieder an meiner Kraft arbeiten kann. Im November und Dezember war ich gesundheitlich ganz schön oft angeschlagen und habe mir daher einige Pausen genommen. Nun fühlt sich mein Körper wieder fitter an und ich möchte mehr Kraft aufbauen, vor allem in der Tiefenmuskulatur. Core und Rücken liegen dabei im Fokus. I was listening to Adyashanti and he was sharing that a part of us desires to wake up from being attached to form (body, mind and all the rest). He went onto say, “It’s not so much that we want to get rid of form, but just wake up from the attachment to it.” As I listened, I realized this is the essence and “power” of yoga. A sacred space opens when we lovingly merge with spirit (or release into the spiritual aspects) — We experience a beautiful feeling of “Being” or “Lightness” and in my humble observance these moments are a taste of divinity (or being free from the attachment of form). 🙏 #ashtangayoga #thirdeye #spiritualyoga #practiceyoga

TRX ADVANCED MOVE DAY 19 OF 31 FIT FRIEND WORKOUTS Today's workout/move is from @movewithrockinrobin Robin brings the heat in the gym with some serious advanced workouts. Loads of effective functional fitness with strength and power. Very well rounded workouts using all sorts of modalities and methodologies! Ok, so if you want to make ALL TRX harder, do it on an incline, it wrecks your core as the TRX pulls away from you to find balance/level and you must resist or be dragged down the hill lol That being said, this was my best effort at doing these.
