Mushy post: So often I question is it worth it to live this way? I hear all the time “Shouldn’t you be married or have a house....a boyfriend even 😆?” And I cant help but question it a lot. However, for me nothing has made me feel more alive and at peace with myself than moments like this. I actually made it...it started with a little nugget of an idea to road trip by myself from the French Riviera to Paris which ended up being a 23 day adventure through France, Italy, & Switzerland. So grateful to the travel gods, (although they didn’t make it easy on me) they kept me safe. Easy is boring anyway 😉 Some days feeling so frustrated that I could cry made me question is it worth it? When I stood in the rain (because of course..) under the Eiffel Tower all I could think is despite all else, there is nothing else I would rather be doing. All the frustration melts away and I am reminded why I love this so much. What you see in pictures is not what this life is really like, they are simply the still beautiful moments among all the craziness. Some people look their entire lives for something that sets their soul on fire and that might look different for everyone and that’s perfectly ok. Spent my afternoon on the other side of town of Cappadocia, Uçhisar Village wherein there’s the Uchisar Castle on a geostrategic position, dominating the whole city from the top of the heap, this magnificent castle presents the visitors a dreamy panorama area with its miraculous landscape. It has a splendid environment providing the fantastic hues of red on Mt. As women our resiliency blinds us from the gravity of these transitions, surviving through the chaos, oftentimes to protect ourselves and others- and it catches up with us. Respecting ourselves enough to acknowledge big life events, taking the time to fortify the bridge before and as we cross it and respecting the process of inevitable change is crucial.
