Never miss a Monday workout 👊🏼 After working all day and not getting much sleep over the weekend, I was putting off the gym all day and when it got to the evening I was sooo tired. But after not training over the weekend I knew I would feel better if I went. It’s literally sooo true when they say working out makes you feel so much more energised even if you feel like you’re about to fall asleep before 😂 Obviously this depends on the situation, if your body is actually run down, then do listen to your body and rest. - Tips to get yourself to the gym when feeling tired/ lazy: 🌟 Make a plan before hand- so you know what you’re doing and can be in and out with minimal faff. 🌟 Don’t think about not wanting to go, just get ready and get out the door! Once you’re around fresh air you’ll be fine and won’t feel as tired. 🌟 Don’t put too much pressure on yourself, sometimes I dread a session when I feel like I have to lift super heavy. But just go with the intention of doing something light and most the time you’ll want to push yourself once you’re there. 🌟 Do what you feel! If you want to do a quick HIIT circuit, or a weight session, then do that! I do follow the same workout split most of the time but at least once a week I do something different like a class. 🌟 Know your why. It’s good to have a goal in mind to keep you motivated even at the times you don’t want to go. This might be to get stronger, fitter etc. - Hope these tips help if your motivation is low! Although I love training, I’m obviously not motivated everyday so these tips help me! And you feel sooo good after 🙌🏼
