Leg day! I've always had big, muscular legs and I hated them growing up. I couldn't ever wear cute knee high socks, or boots (I've only found a couple pair my entire life that fit) and no matter what my legs always rubbed together in shorts or skirts. Then in 2009 I detached my ACL, tore my MCL and meniscus and scars from surgery made me hate my legs even more. Then I found lifting. Once I got comfortable with what i was doing and started to see progress each week with being to lift heavier (even having some of my hubby's friends being impressed by how much i was lifting) gave me this new found confidence in myself and my legs. I got to a point with running and lifting heavy that I actually LIKED my legs. Today I start back on that path. Here's to first leg day and liking my legs again someday. #legday #JELF #livelovelift #girlswholift #squatsonsquatsonsquats #liftheavyshit
