Because Baseball . In case you haven't heard, whenever I give my baseball athletes specific work, the only explanation I give is "because baseball". . Every sport requires a different demand. While they can share cross training benefits, it's important to understand the biomechanical demands of your sport and program specifically to produce the greatest result possible. . We work a lot of core/ anti rotational stability work as we warm up. Lots of hip mobility and stability. Once the body is primed then it's time to build. In the movement circuit we focus on rate of force production using the patterns of their sport. . In today's video I'm showing just a handful of warm up and performance drills due to the 1 minute time limit . Love working with the Landmine for baseball athletes as it has a huge impact on the shoulder's ability to stabilize and produce force in an upward rotation angle, just like throwing a baseball would produce. . #RiseBeyondFitness #RiseBeyondYourLimits #BecauseBaseball

Наконец мы это сделали! 💪 А именно - мы перешли от привычного ОФП и СФП к более профессиональному методу - СКП. ОФП - общая физическая подготовка СФП - специальная физическая подготовка СКП - силовая и кондиционная подготовка. Плюс СКП - это то, что все упражнения задействуют те группы мышц, которые участвуют, непосредственно, в спортивной деятельности единоборцев. Развивают качества, необходимые для быстроты, силы, выносливости, маневренности, мощности. СКП требует отточенной техники, этим мы сейчас и занимаемся. К сожалению не можем использовать весь набор упражнений, в силу возраста ребят, а также отсутствия необходимого оборудования. Но я уверен, что результат будет и от того набора движений, которые мы можем использовать. Each rep we should think about pulling the weight in an arc towards the hip, rather than pulling straight towards the sternum. The angle of the elbow at the top of the rep should be 90 degrees or more to maximize lat recruitment. Crank the saw!!!!! My first nickname in sports was Buzzsaw at age 4. When I would get super fired up for training or practice or just simply bc I like to get fired up, the Miller brothers would call me Saw instead of Buzz or Buzzsaw. Now we call it cranking the saw bc I can only crank the saw all the way up to train super hard a couple times a month bc of all the injuries, hits, and bad training throughout the years. I spend most of my time in the gym doing myofascial release so I can live life pain free. Teenage athletes can make a decision to crank the saw when they step into the weight room or on the court for practice. “Ability is what your capable of. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.” Attitude is a decision and It can be fun to practice hard, train hard, and compete hard. I know it leads to more winning and I always think winning is fun too!! Don’t think about being tired or cold, about your hw, about the drama at school, focus on the moment, the task at hand, crank the saw, and go 💯. Your volleyball days of practice and training with a team will be over before you know it. Make the most of them! Wouldn’t it be great if training went like the top chart? 📈 . Unfortunately training is actually a series of peaks and valleys, with plateaus in between. 😶 . Things happen in life. It could be a loss of motivation, injury or sickness, but you simply can’t keep getting better everytime you walk in the gym. But that’s okay. Because if you look at the reality chart, it’s still trending upwards.✅ . Stop thinking in terms of 6 weeks. Stop thinking even in terms of months. Getting strong and building muscle takes YEARS and the longer you train, the harder it becomes to make progress. 🤔 . You’ll experience peaks and valleys and plateaus along the way, but if you stick to solid principles and just try and enjoy the process of training your body and mind, you’ll get to where you want to be. 👍🏻💪🏻
