#Deadlift is a very important and a beneficial exercise for anyone who aspires to have a healthy body. It teaches your body how to efficiently hinge while your spine is loaded. Such a training is very important for avoiding injuries in day to day life and sports alike. Dealifts are also great muscle builders as it loads almost every muscle in your body. However, done incorrectly these can cause a lot of trouble in your back. Here, my friend @hk.singh20 agreed to help me make this instructional as he needed some help while recovering from a deadlift #injury while performing really heavy #deadlifts. Thankfully, the injury is not severe and he can return to #training with load within a week or two, but we decided to evaluate his form and technique and found a few areas where he could focus. As with Harsh, a lot of people don't really know that deadlift is essentially a #hip exercise and not your lower back exercise. We also worked on his bracing technique starting with #thoracicspine #extension, and #transverseabdominis activation, then we did some supine #glutebridge to teach him how to extend hips. Finally we also activated his leg #adductors to ensure efficient hinge. Guys, share this video with your friends who love to deadlift let them know the correct technique. As you can see we used a PVC pipe to emphasize on the proper technique. This is a very simple and easy way to work on your hinging. So proud of my 2 clients. 2 seperate session but both achieved a 1RM Deadlift PB. Micheal went from 135kg to a best of 145kg and Calvin from 120kg to a massive 155kg. Awesome work guys. Squats are still at 285lbs. Also they have been a real pain lately.. & plus I had zero motivation last week.. - I have been working on 295lbs for 3 days & yesterday when I finally thought I had it.. I didnt. .when I was pushing up,the weights was like "SIKKEEEEEE" 🤣. to be honest I'm not mad at all. I made progress. The first time I tried to squat 295lbs I only lift the bar from the squat rack and put it back .. the 2nd time I had it off the rack about to squat it but couldn't push it up.. now 3rd I was so close. - I'll get there soon...💪 - I like sharing my fail moments to show that's not always easy to get where I am.
