Here is a strength session with just your body for you to try: 💪 WARMUP: bike or jog 10min 💪 MAIN: 3 rounds of 1x45s (15s move to next) - Squat (with jump if easy) - Lunges around the clock - Burpees - Skipping (pretend you have a rope) - Hip thrusts on one leg at the time - High knees (run on the spot and hit your knees on you palms that you hold out in front of you) If you want to add more finish with 30s- 1 min plank straight 30s- 1 min on each side Do as many rounds as you can. Here’s a little of my progress so far, started off the year at 190 lbs and now I’m at my lowest I’ve ever been weighing in at about 170ish and couldn’t be happier!🥰 Not only can you see the difference but I just feel overall better and more confident in myself🙏🏻💯 Being overweight has always been one of my biggest insecurities, holding me back from things I wanted to do... 😱Rotational Core Work ⁣ ⁣ This is something that gets missed by a lot, so many times I have a new client start and we do some rotational work and they have never done it before in classes or with their old PT. ⁣ ⁣ We do so much pushing, pulling and hinging but neglect the rotational work which we do quite a lot of in day to day life. ⁣ ⁣ ◾️Aim To Get It In At Least Twice A Week⁣ ◾️3-4 Sets ⁣ ◾️8-12 Reps Each Side ⁣ ◾️Explode Out, Slow Back⁣ ⁣ Let me know below if you do or don’t currently do rotational core work 👇👇👇⁣ ⁣

This mornings workout was meant to be legs but due to them still being in bits from the last 2 days sessions I went a for an upper body circuit, simple and effective. 10 sets of 10 x bench press, 10 sets of 3 ring pull ups, 10 sets of 4 tricep dips on the bars. Solid workout and really working in my full range with the pull ups and depth with the dips. Finished of with 3 rounds of, Plank walk with 10 slider squat thrusts, 10 hanging knee raises & 5 abs roll outs. Sometimes you just have to improvise but make sure you workout, doesn’t matter if it’s for 15 mins or 60 mins you will feel better for it. W7D2 - Squat n Deadlifts Was feeling tight and stiff in my warm ups but working sets moved really well. Confidence is the highest it’s been with my sleeved squats this off season. It’s continued to develop which hopefully transfers over to wraps when they are thrown back in the mix. All sets shown. Deadlift has gone from strength to strength,throwing around my working sets today with intent. Small fix from @australianstrengthcoach has changed the game for me and will be Keen to see what I can bring to GPC WA states in May 2020.
