All pink everything with my @womensbest BCAA aminos in fruit explosion ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ’๐ŸŽ - Did you set a goal to drink more water in 2019 (because myself and everyone else and their mothers did bc water is important AF๐Ÿ™ˆ) Iโ€™ve recently come across two things that have helped me drink even more ๐Ÿ”ฝ๐Ÿ”ฝ - 1๏ธโƒฃ drinking from a larger bottle! Iโ€™ve been getting water in by filling up a 2.5L water bottle and making sure I finished it, but additionally I was drinking 1 shaker cup full of BCAAs when I worked out! I recently upgraded to this larger shaker cup (itโ€™s 2x the size) and out of habit it is no more difficult to finish during my workout! Trick your brain into finishing that extra wataaaa ๐Ÿ’ฆ - 2๏ธโƒฃ put BCAAs in your water! BCAAs are amazing for recovery as Iโ€™ve mentioned before.. but they just taste so dang good! Once I mix a cup full of them I donโ€™t wanna put the cup down because it tastes like drinking candy! In a big bowl, use a power whisk to mix the eggs, sugar and almond extract together for a minute until foamy and fluffy. Pour in the melted butter and continue to beat until combined. Gently fold in the flour, ground almonds and a tiny bit of salt. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € 2. Then slice the peaches. Dividing the muffin mixture between 6 holes of a non-stick muffin tin; top each with a blob of peach/apricot jam and put a few slices of peach on top. Ich war auch mal fitter. Ich glaube sehr wohl, dass du den Satz mit noch viel mehr Gewicht locker geschafft hรคttest.. sorry aber du strengst dich einfach gar nicht an" Einige wรผrden da vielleicht aggressiv reagieren aber da ich ein Mรคdchen bin, aussehe wie ein Kind, muss ich mir da nie Sorgen machen ๐Ÿค“ . Na jedenfalls Leute. Wenn ihr euch im Training nur einredet "ich bin mรผde, ich habe nicht gegessen blabla"... Dann wird das auch nichts. Feeling rested & ready to buckle down๐Ÿ‘๐ŸปThe hardest part is getting back up on the horse & it always takes me a few days to get back to my routine. ๐Ÿ’ฅSome tips for getting back on track/getting started ๐Ÿ’ฅ 1๏ธโƒฃOne step at a time: Take it slow and add one component at a time. Diet is always the hardest for me. I normally eat very healthy throughout the day, focus on getting my veggies in first, eat a bigger dinner and then a small treat at night. I love sweets & I would be very angry if I fully restricted myself from them so I opt for MODERATION: a couple pieces of dark chocolate with an apple or @halotop. Food is fuel and should make you happy so donโ€™t make yourself miserable by cutting out all the fun 2๏ธโƒฃBe competitive only with yourself. Donโ€™t compare yourself to anyone. Only look at where you were yesterday and try to improve in some way. 3๏ธโƒฃRest and be patient. For every week you take off it takes about 2-3 weeks to get back to where you were (depending on how fit to start). Be kind to yourself and be mindful of self talk. There are enough critics in the world and you donโ€™t need any more in your life. 4๏ธโƒฃSleep & Hydrate. Sleep is so important. Your body does some major healing & so important for overall health/happiness. Drink water. Always. Bench Press was the exercise I put off the longest because I was intimidated. The benches were filled with guys just repping out multiple plates and I didnโ€™t think I could press the bar. After months of using dumbbells I decided to go for it, and what do you know, I could do even more than 45lbs! Now, this move is on every intermediate+ plan I create because it is SO beneficial! โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € ๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸปItโ€™s a compound movement, meaning it works more than just the muscle youโ€™re trying to hit (or itโ€™s opposing ones). ๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸปLie down with shoulders pressed into the bench, feet flat on the floor. Brace your core. Push your feet into the floor and simultaneously squeeze your glutes. ๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸปHold your breathe through each full rep. ๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸปIf you want to jump in and try a bar but donโ€™t feel comfortable , most gyms have pre-weighted bars for 20 or 30lbs that are not a full barbell. Today was a struggle mentally, battling through why I was working out. I finally got through the mile run and leg workout, but I was still fighting through the reasons. Iโ€™m not going to the Bahamas like the rest of IG, but I bought these new @lululemon aligns and need about 10 more pairs. They make my quads look 110% more jacked. ๐ŸคŸ๐Ÿปโฃ โฃ People always ask me how Iโ€™ve grown my legs. Itโ€™s pretty simple - eat food and lift heavy. Whenever I hit a leg day, or a lift for that matter, I always want to do more weight than I did before - I want to be better. SLAP ON SOME WEIGHT AND PUSH YOURSELF. I hate to be the bad news but lifting 15 pounds isnโ€™t gonna force your muscle to grow. โฃ โฃ Also, if youโ€™re not fueling your body properly, how do you expect to grow your muscle? There is nothing about living a healthy lifestyle that is easy. . . The effort to decide to workout is hard. Trying to be thrifty in shopping for healthy food is hard. The temptations at cookouts and events is hard. Having faith in your ability to STICK with a routine is hard. Sweating your a** off is HARD. Finding time to workout is hard {okay, not so much with 20 min workouts} ๐ŸคฃโœŒ๐Ÿผ #truth #noexcuses . . It can all be hard. But ya wanna know what else is hard? Avoiding the dressing room at your favorite store, being out of breath after a flight of stairs, getting winded playing with your kids, feeling sick and bloated from eating c r a p. ๐Ÿ˜ซ๐Ÿคข . But I KNOW that I am worth more than that {and so are YOU} . And I CERTAINLY KNOW that I want to live long enough to see my family grow and prosper....and not have to do so with constant aches, pains, and struggles from carrying extra weight is around. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ . . So, this weeks goal is to beat our own numbers from last week and let me tell you something, I did, barely but I did and only to challenge ourselves to do better than last week. On another note ๐Ÿ“ some girls have asked me if I come up with my meal plans, the answer is NO. This program gives you different plans depending on your goals, in my case Iโ€™m not trying to lose weight but trying to gain muscle. We have certified, professional trainers that do that for us so I donโ€™t even have to do that which makes things a whole lot easier. All I basically have to do is show up and get it done!
