WADEN EFFEKTIV TRAINIEREN . 🤦🏻‍♂️ Normalerweise bin ich der Letzte der danach aussieht, als hätte er Plan von Wadentraining #TEAMNOCALVES. Aber ein paar Gesetze der Natur lassen sich nunmal nicht abschreiben - und wenn es um die Achillessehne geht, dann ist für dich wichtig zu wissen, dass diese unheimlich elastisch ist. . ☝🏻 Aufgrund ihrer Elastizität speichert sie bei ihrer Dehnung (bzw. der Dehnung der Wadenmuskulatur) irrsinnig viel Energie. Diese Energie setzt sie dann beispielsweise innerhalb der konzentrischen Bewegung frei. Das spielt eine risengroße Rolle wenn es um Wadentraining, aber auch Achillessehnenschmerzen geht. . ▶️ Wenn wir unsere Wadenmuskeln trainieren wollen, müssen wir also auf zwei Faktoren achten. Einerseits das Tempo, mit dem wir die Wiederholungen ausführen - andererseits aber auch auf die Pause im untersten Punkt der Bewegung. Dadurch reduzieren wir die Kraft, die die Achillessehne durch ihren Dehnungs-Verkürzungs-Zyklus freisetzt. . 🏃🏻‍♂️ Das spielt aber auch eine riesengroße Rolle, wenn wir eine Verletzung im Bereich der Achillessehne haben. Oftmals ist diese nämlich intolerant gegenüber schnellen Bewegungen. Durch eine Reduktion des Tempos und einer anschließenden Steigerung bis hin zu richtig schnellen Bewegungen, können wir Schmerzen ganz gut in den Griff bekommen. . ☝🏻 Probiere es aus und markiere eine Person, der dieser Post helfen könnte!

CELLULITE Full disclosure: I hate cellulite on me! However I do 🧡 the new Social Media movement of women showing their lumps and bumps off and being proud. Whilst showing mine on my IG account pains me, I also know it is totally natural and 99% of women have it. The women that we see in magazines that don't have it are typically photoshopped. I also know that many will say 'pffft that's not cellulite, THIS is cellulite' 😂But in my head it is major. I know its a fucked up mentality. I also know this lighting is semi decent therefore it actually doesn't look as bad as it can. Put me in a Target or Lululemon changeroom and its a whole different story 😂😂 But I think that's kinda the point too, that we all have good angles and bad angles. And look, the higher human mind says 'Love yourself girl', and I totally do, but that lower human mind aka the Ego says 'Fuck man, you need to train harder, eat better'. Thankfully I have grown enough to override that Ego voice. Honestly, I will never love cellulite, but I love that my legs are able to get me all the places I ever need to be. I will never have perfect legs #teamnocalves is a running joke with my friends and family, but I see too many women beat themselves up for being less than perfect. So I am putting this out there to say I know you may have your body hang ups, but you will never be perfect. ⁣ Something we try recommend all our clients to do is to record a few of their main sets from the training week for two reasons:⁣ ⁣ 1) To make sure they're training with intensity, and pushing their main sets to the limit.⁣ ⁣ 2) To give feedback on their technique, and looking at ways we can improve & optimise future sets. While we can't give real time feedback with online training, what we can do that works very well is give cues & tips that you can implement in the future.⁣ ⁣ Every week we try to video at least a couple sets from my main lifts to see how we can improve, and to ensure that any progress made is genuine overload on the target muscle, not just tweaks in technique to create better leverages.⁣ ⁣ During the pendulum squats, we noticed Akash’s left knee coming in on each rep, so he knows for next time to be conscious of that, and importantly, to figure out why.⁣ ⁣ This was the first segment of a brutal rest-paused set that ended up as follows: 10 reps > 30 sec rest > 4 reps > 30 sec rest > 2 reps, and hitting failure and falling out of the machine on the 3rd!⁣ ⁣ Full workout went as follows:⁣ 1) Standing Calves 3x12⁣ 2) Single Leg Curl 2x8-10⁣ 3) RDL 2x6 (1 set heavy, 1 set paused)⁣ 4) Smith Front Squat 2x8-12⁣ 5) Pendulum Squat 1x8-12, 1xRP set.⁣ ⁣ Third time doing this workout and it's already at the stage where he was getting that pre-workout anxiety when writing in his log book - that's exactly how it should when you're training with a progressive mindset to build muscle!

I’ve been putting this off for a few days now because I was mentally dreading it. I also wanted to eat a bunch of junk so that I could “carb up” for this workout. While it did make me feel pretty strong, it also made me extremely bloated and inflamed. That’s ok though, because it’s a good reminder to myself as to why I went full Carnivore to begin with. 1st video: Comp Squat, 330x10-12x2-3(second set shown). I ended up doing 3 sets of 10 on these. I probably could have grinded out more reps but I was cramping up a lot and my hips were feeling pretty tight. 2nd video: Paused Squats, 350x6-8x2(second shown). I got 7 on my first set and struggled to get 6 on this second set. 3rd video: High Bar, 305x10-12x2-3(second set shown). I got 11 on the first set, then called it at 9 on this second set. I was so fatigued by this point and didn’t do a third set. Zero accessory exercises today. I get to do this same set/rep scheme on Deadlifts in a few days.
