As it's a unilateral movement each arm is working independently and therefore can fix strength imbalances from side to side. ⁣ ⁣ Key form points ⁣ - Move the shoulder into shoulder extension (move your upper arm back towards your head). Some people find it difficult to build the mind-to-muscle connection with the back muscles. This could be due to not being able to see the muscle working... . . I like to visualize the muscles working. So with each rep, my mind is seeing the muscles move and contract. Each rep is intentional and focused. I don’t go super heavy otherwise I start to rely on momentum. . . . Training back should be a staple in everyone’s program. A strong back is needed for pretty much everything!! 🙌🏼

Lowered the bar a little too low on my stomach so it threw me off but we still got a good looking single. - Long pauses help with training your body to still have that power off the chest even though exerting energy holding the weight for a long period of time. - Had to work up to a top single for wound a 7rpe. Questa foto è molto significativa per me, son passati ben 7 anni dalla prima alla seconda fotografia, e il peso che ho raggiunto quest’anno (anche se il peso di qualche settimana fa era un po sfalsato) ovvero 100kg. Nella prima foto io avevo un grande problema col cibo, non avevo una grande vita sociale, nessuno mi accettava per quello che ero se non gli amici più cari con cui ho rapporti tutt’oggi, il cibo era la mia fonte di sfogo, mi faceva stare bene, dopo che lasciai il calcio nel 2009 per motivi di salute per via del colesterolo alto, soffio al cuore e allergie, iniziai a diventare il classico ragazzo che mangiava patatine e beveva bevande zuccherate standosene ore e ore davanti ad un computer, rinchiuso in quel mondo che mi faceva stare tanto bene. Alla fine, come si può vedere dalla foto, ero diventato veramente grasso, mi pesai e la bilancia segnava 100 kg all’età di 17 anni, quindi decisi di smetterla, di dare una svolta finalmente alla mia vita, e dopo 7 anni di duro lavoro e tanti alti e bassi, sono tornato a quel peso, ma con una forma decisamente diversa, premetto che non sono 100 kg di muscolo effettivo ovviamente, ma vedere lo stesso peso però in una forma completamente diversa, è una grande vittoria per me! E la cosa che mi fa sempre sorridere, sono quelle persone che prima mi prendevano per il culo per via del mio peso, e adesso mi elogiano per ciò che sono diventato e chiedono consigli per quanto riguarda la palestra e si, questa è veramente una mia grande rivincita contro una società del tutto sbagliata. Fiero di essere diventato quel che sono con sacrifici, impegno e studio, e questa è da sempre la forza che mi manda avanti.
