Throwing it back to this amazing smoothie bowl that I made while I was eating like @plantfullypiper for a day! - This smoothie bowl was seriously the easiest thing ever to make! All I used was some some frozen bananas, mango, strawberries, soy milk and hemp seeds! 4-5 medium size potatoes
1 tb

Crispy spiced fries by @bos.kitchen 🧡 . 4-5 medium size potatoes 1 tbsp smoked paprika 2 tsp cumin 1/2 tsp smoked salt (can sub regular) 5 tbsp veg/sunflower/coco oil . Optional toppings - sriracha, coriander, chillis, lime . Wash potatoes and slice into fries. Soak in a bowl of cold water for 10 mins, drain well. Preheat oven to 200•c/400F. Heat a large baking tray with the oil. Sprinkle paprika, cumin and salt over fries and mix well to combine. Add to the preheated baking tray and cook for 25-30 minutes, turning half way through. To serve, drizzle with sriracha and top with coriander, chillis and lime. Best served immediately with lots of fresh guac! #bestofvegan

Miso Soup with Rice Noodles, Veggies and Glazed Tofu 🍜 ____________________________________________ 6 cups of water 1 thumb sized piece ginger 2-3 garlic cloves 4 dried chilis (or 1 fresh chili) 2 heaping tbsp organic miso paste ~ 2 cups veggies of choice (I used baby bok choy, mushrooms, snow peas, rainbow carrots and spring onion) 2 servings of rice noodles 1/2 Block organic extra firm tofu 1-2 tbsp coconut aminos 1 tsp mushroom umami seasoning (optional) ____________________________________________ Cut garlic and ginger into thin slices and add them to a large pot together with the chilis and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for about 20 minutes. While broth is simmering, wash and cut veggies and prepare rice noodles (cook for about 6 min in boiling water, rinse and set aside). After 20 minutes add miso paste (stir until dissolved) and all veggies to the broth. Simmer for another 5 - 10 minutes depending on the type of veggies you are using and the desired level of tenderness. In the meantime, cut tofu into cubes and pan fry in a non stick skillet with coconut aminos and seasoning (if using) until slightly browned and caramelized. Add noodles to a bowl, top with broth, veggies, glazed tofu and enjoy 🥰 Tip: Discard ginger, garlic and/or chilis before adding your veggies to the broth if you don’t want to have them as part of your finished soup! I only took out the ginger but left the garlic and chilis ☺️ I prefer using coconut aminos as they give a hint of sweetness but tamari/soy sauce work as well. I’d scale down the measurements to 1/2 -1 tbsp though as their flavor and saltiness is much more intense and maybe add 1 tsp of maple or date syrup for a touch of sweetness✌🏼

AICR is a nonprofit group based in Washington, D.C., that supports research on diet, nutrition and cancer prevention, and was not involved in the WHO report. Bender said that processed meat is any meat that has been preserved by smoking, curing, salting or adding chemical preservatives. A while ago I came across the story of a bodybuilder who also happened to be an A&E doctor. He was saying you shouldn’t consume two apples and a banana a day. Why? This provides 34g of sugar and ‘the NHS website only recommends 30g.’ I’m SO grateful for our healthcare system but.. despite the fact that our medical doctors study for so many years, they’re only provided a few hours worth of nutrition training. And when questioned It’s ‘well that’s what it says on the NHS website.’ NOT: I saw a study that says fruit in excess is bad/a study that says fruit containing sugar is equal to refined sugar/I’ve researched this. INSTEAD: I went to university for the best part of a decade but I have no intention of researching what I talk about; I’ll just go by what the NHS website says. 1. The NHS website meant refined/FREE sugar (it even clearly says it...). This basically means sugar not attached to fibre, such as soft drinks, table sugar, juice and honey/agave. These are high in fructose - which isn’t metabolised as easily as glucose/sucrose and is in fact inflammatory if consumed in high doses. That doesn’t mean that you can’t have 2 tbsp of mango & lime dressing with your MASSIVE 10 veggie SALAD, A SERVING of reduced sugar ketchup on your HIGH FIBRE SWEET POTATO/BLACK BEAN BURGER or a teaspoon of agave with your porridge. A bit of sugar won’t hurt, but don’t go smashing in a caramel latte, porridge with honey, a croissant, a can of coke and ice cream every day. 2. Fruit sugar has a perfect balance of glucose, sucrose and fructose - there is NO evidence that sugar in fruit is harmful for your health, the same way that glucose in porridge isn’t either.. You could search for days and not find a thing. Most disease researchers recommend MORE fruit (plus fruit is at such a large volume per calorie, it’s very difficult to over eat on, therefor great for weight loss WHILST REDUCING inflammation - cause of disease). 3. This guy failed to mention that the eggs and chicken he was promoting on his page for bodybuilding purposes surely outweighs the NHS’ recommended daily CHOLESTEROL/SAT FAT intake. Which are a lot more harmful for your health than refined sugar(continued Below)

It disrupts the narrative that there's something wrong with those who can not digest lactose from cow's milk. This should be plainly evident given that humans aren't cows, but here we are. In 2019, still drinking that stuff. We can shoot a probe to Pluto and hit the target but seems like we can't figure this one out. . Side note: 50-80% of Latinx people are lactose normal. Interestingly enough, I am lactose abnormal, but I still only drink plant milk. Because I am not a calf.
