So What is healthy food to you? Healthy food to me, means food that makes me feel amazing on the inside & makes me feel physically strong and energised, which is why I always love to have a BIG BOWL of substantial whole foods like this, full of plant protein, healthy fats, carbs & lots of vitamins and it’s such a bonus that they always taste so delicious 😋 . . . We took our cat “Bibis” to the vets yesterday because he hasn’t been himself at all. 😿 He wouldn’t eat properly, he keeps shifting from one place to the other when he tries to sleep, he struggles to lick himself. It turns out he has a huge ulcer on his poor little tongue. It must be so sore! 😔 the vets gave him 2 shots and some special food and he already seems to be getting better. It’s awful seeing your pets suffer 🙈 just hope he’s back to his wonderful self soon 🤞🏼 . . . Dinner is ready! Who’s in?! Ok, once again I just grabbed what I found and this is what came out. Yummy, simple, and easy to make! 👉🏼 Soak the flaxseed meal for 10 min in the water. Add all the ingredients to the blender except the oat flour and olive oil. Mix until everything is partially crushed and then create the burgers, coat them with the oat flour. Next, warm up your saucepan with the olive oil and cook 4-5 min on each side. That’s it! Eating this with salsa, golden beets, and any veggie I find. I’m so hungry after an intense workout 🏋️‍♀️ that I might eat all 9 burgers 😬😂, good night, pals!! Try to eat some good whole foods today. Your body will thank you 💚🙏 .......................... ¡La cena está lista! ¡¿Quien quiere?! Ok, una vez más, simplemente agarré lo que encontré en el refri y esto es lo que hice. Delicioso, simple y fácil de hacer! 👍💚Remojar la harina de linaza durante 10 minutos en agua. Agreguen todos los ingredientes de la imagen a la licuadora menos la harina de avena y el aceite de oliva. Muelen todo parcialmente y luego crean las hamburguesas, cúbranlos con la harina de avena. A continuación, calientan su sartén con el aceite de oliva y cocinan 4-5 minutos por cada lado. ¡Eso es todo! Me las comeré con salsa, betarraga dorada y cualquier verdura que encuentre... tengo tanta hambre después de un entrenamiento intenso que podría comerme las 9 hamburguesas 😬😂, ¡buenas noches chiquill@s! Dneska jsem si pro vás připravila jedno z nejdůležitějších témat na veganské stravě, a to VITAMIN B12🌱Vitamin B12 se podílí hlavně na krvetvorbě a fungování nervového systému, nicméně nevyskytuje se v žádných rostlinných zdrojích, a proto se na veganské stravě musí suplementovat (až 20% celkové populace ale trpí nedostatkem B12, proto mu radši věnujte pozornost, i když třeba na rostlinné stravě nejste). Denně se osobám do 50 let doporučuje konzumovat 250 µg kyanokobalaminu, což je synteticky vyrobená forma vitaminu B12 (také se dá užívat jednou týdně dávka 2500 µg). Zároveň existují potraviny, které jsou fortifikované (obohacené) o B12 - patří mezi ně například rostlinná mléka, alternativy masa, snídaňové cereálie nebo lahůdkové droždí🚨Nedostatek B12 se projevuje úzkostí, depresemi, brněním v končetinách, únavou nebo slabostí. Dlouhodobý nedostatek může mít za následek poškození nervového a kardiovaskulárního systému.

Spicy Vegetable Pie! . This has to be one of the best pies ever... and it has no meat or fish in it. Now I say that as a well established vegetable lover - it’s just that I’ve never really put vegetable and pie in the same sentence before. The inspiration for this particular pie came from an Ottolenghi recipe in ‘Plenty More’ (love that book) and I just adapted/augmented it to use what I had (sweet potatoes for example 😳... yes, we’re still eating them) and the pastry was already made (as a batch a few days ago), but it’s the divine mix of spices and sweet vegetables that works such a treat in this! To make...(enough for 4) . 🥕Start by prepping your vegetables - potatoes (2), carrots (2), parsnips (2), squash (1) - chopped into rough 2cm cubes, along with an onion, 2/3 cloves of garlic and a green chilli, all finely chopped . 🥕Then melt some olive oil in a pan and add in 1 tsp each of cardamon, caraway, mustard and cumin seeds and fry over a medium heat for a few seconds before adding in the onion, chilli, garlic and a tbs of fresh thyme. Cook for another few mins and then add in your vegetables and mix well. Pour in 250 ml of good quality vegetable stock, cover and simmer for 15 mins or so, until the vegetables are cooked through and the liquid reduced . 🥕Finally, just before the veggies are ready, roll out your pastry (I used just a ‘top’). Then take the veggies off the heat, stir in a good handful of mature cheddar cheese and a handful of fresh coriander and spoon the mixture into the pie dish.
