THE BOTTOM LINE :: the secret is nothing more than the choices I make. . From 404.4 lb (age 44) to a present 216.2 lb (age 46) it is the compound affect at work. . In the past I made choices according to what I wanted in the MOMENT. Now I make choices according to what I want MOST. . This fundamental change of mindset is what drives my decision making factor a thousand times a day. . • Whether I hit the snooze • Whether I grab that first glass of water • Whether I jump on social media or practice my Miracle Morning first • Whether I drink that second cup of coffee • Whether I add a second tbsp of creamer • Whether I walk down the stairs myself to get more toilet paper for the bathroom or I call out to another house member to do it. • What I choose to eat for breakfast • Whether I choose to push play/complete my workout • Whether I choose to stand up when the alarm on my phone goes off reminding me to get up each hour (in my business I sit A LOT!) • Whether I pass on the office donuts • Whether I choose another round of water • Whether I chose the drive thru or stick to my meal plan • And on and on and on... . No it didn’t come easy and it definitely did not come overnight, but it does come. . Do YOUR WORK! Put in the effort! If what you say you want, you REALLY WANT, then stop giving lip service to your goals. Stop giving up the things you want most for the things you want in the moment. . The moment, the urge, the flavor, taste or pain will pass in an instant. Let it go, you’ve got something more important you’re after and you can have it! . I freaking did it!!!! I did it!! I did it!!!! -100.2lbs gone since April 2nd 2018!!! I am soo damn proud of myself and my accomplishment!! I have still more but I know that it is possible! In 10 months I have gone from 390lbs my heaviest weight to 289.8lbs!! I am sooo excited to see what the next 10 months will bring!! When I made this choice to change my life I finally wanted to live and be human! I look forward to being able to be more and more active and to go to amusement parks with my friends and feel comfortable riding rides!!! 2019 will be my year of a lot of new and exciting things. My only regret was not doing this sooner in life. I have struggled with my self esteem for my whole life and I’ve have tired to kill myself once and have thought about it multiple times but this journey hasn’t just changed my body it’s changed my mind!! I feel worthy of life now!! I feel like there are things to live for! I no longer allow myself to let life just happen I am a participant in it and I feel human finally! Keto Smashed Brussels Sprouts🍀 - Having Trouble STICKING with the Keto Diet? (Check the link in the bio)👆 - INGREDIENTS 2 lb. Brussels sprouts 2 tbsp. olive oil 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tsp. chopped thyme kosher salt Freshly ground black pepper 1 c. shredded mozzarella 1/4 c. freshly grated Parmesan Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 425° and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Prepare an ice bath in a large bowl. Blanch brussels sprouts: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add brussels sprouts and cook until bright green and very tender, about 10 minutes. Add brussels sprouts to ice bath to cool then drain. On a large baking sheet, toss blanched brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic and thyme. Using the end of a small glass or mason jar, press down on the brussels sprouts to smash them into a flat patty. Season each smashed brussels sprout with salt and pepper, then sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan on top. Bake until the bottoms of the sprouts are crispy and the cheese is melted and golden, about 20 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve warm - Enjoy 👌 - Posted @withrepost@ketonutritions

🏓Intermittent fasting (IF) 100 days update. - 🏓You got me, you got me! I've completely lost track on how many days I've been intermittent fasting. I know the last time we talked about it was day 60 or something. It feels like it should be day 100-ish already today... I think? Shhh let's pretend it is. - 🏓I haven't been talking intermittent fasting as much cos it's kinda become part of my routine now. I'm no longer trying to make it work, holding out, looking at the time for the exact hours, it's all become quite natural to me now. - 🏓I've been intermittent fasting 18/6 all this time. 18hr fast, 6hr eating time. My schedule works out to roughly fasting from 6pm to the next day's 12pm. And eating between 12pm to 6pm. In other words my day looks something like this: - 🏓1) skip breakfast 🏓2) have a small lunch at 12pm 🏓3) snack a little between 2pm-5pm 🏓4) have a huge dinner around 5:30-6:00pm 🏓5) 6pm hits, and I start fasting, and repeat back to 1) - 🏓I'm loving it. There's absolutely no struggle for me. No dealing with hunger. No awkward social life. It's perfect, and I get to eat bigger meals cos I saved up all the calories. - 🏓2 things I love about intermittent fasting are: - 🏓a) Productivity. Not worrying about food for 18hrs every single day feels like I earned an extra 1-2hrs everyday. I'm getting so much done since IF. - 🏓b) Feeling full. Eating within a shorter timeframe means my meals are naturally bigger to hit the same calories. I love it. I feel full each meal. - 🏓Personally I feel it's less of a weight "loss" tool and more of a weight management tool. Being on IF doesn't magically help you lose weight, but I feel I'm in control of my weight without doing any calculations. There's a bigger margin of error to overeat compared to a normal diet. - 🏓I don't recommend IF your mere goal is weight loss. Hoping for quick weight loss and dealing with hunger isn't the best combination in my experience. - 🏓But if you still insist on trying, I suggest trying 14/10 first for a week or two and work your way longer if it feels good. - 🏓How long have you stuck to your current diet?

TBT from 2015. This is what you call a journey. No I’m not where I want to be but baby I’ve come a long way. 2018 was a challenging year for me if I’m keeping it 💯. I had lost a significant amount of weight in 2017 and at the beginning of 2018 I was working on losing more, but then life hit hard and I began gaining the weight back. I guess you can say I was eating through my problems. But this is a new year and I’m leaving the past right where it belongs in the past. I’m coming for everything I want. I’m claiming it. I’m going to do this no matter what it takes. I want to live a healthier life and inspire others to do the same. It has been 180 days (6 months) since Danny challenged me to a 30 day Keto challenge. I had such success the first 30 days that I kept going. 😊 Its not been easy and Ive definitely had some set backs. I took a month off from the gym after injuring my tailbone. December 22nd to January 4th I ate and drank all.the.things.
