Yes, I have about three or four of these shirts that I seem to wear constantly. 😆 It's a vicious cycle; wear, wash, and then throw em back on top in the dresser. Always end up being the first one I grab. 🤷 . Today was my first day back on the Body Beast wagon, and it was tough! 😫 I feel like I could tell I took a week off from lifting weights because I was a weak one today! I, however, tried my best. I was able to push 20s a few times, but I crapped out sooner than usual. So I posted this earlier but decided to take it down because I just needed time away from social media and spent the day with my littles... much needed family time. ❤ Anyway, here I am, you've seen the before picture already, it's at my heaviest. I don't actually know how heavy I was pre-keto. I just know I had lost some weight because my clothes were fitting better. When I actually weighed myself I was at 190 and so sad that I had let myself gain so much weight! I remember the knot in my stomach looking at that number on the scale. I've changed my lifestyle for the better and feel great! I still have my ups and downs, I'm human but the confidence I've gained far out weighs any minor challenge I might face along the way... The last part of my body to actually flatten and tone up was my stomach.That stubborn “pouch” insisted on staying there, inviting it’s self over for tea, and not getting the hint that the party was over. . I tried so many things to get rid of it. I cut out carbs, used portion control containers, drank that nasty Apple Cider Vinegar drink that Beyoncé drinks, and even spent money on those tummy trainer things that suck your stomach in and have you feeling like a can of stuffed biscuits. . From working with multiple Moms, the one thing that I have found that actually works is...understanding that weight loss isn’t a one size fits all. It really isn’t. Just because your best friends cousins sister ate just grapes and toast for 3 weeks and has a flat tummy, doesn’t mean you will get the same results. . Weight loss has layers like an onion. You have to peel back the skin, and see what’s really going on inside of there, or else you are going to continually spend tons of money of crap that doesn’t work, and programs that aren’t made for you. You gotta get deep and personal with yourself on your weight loss journey. . Enjoying some CRISPY sockeye salmon and creamy PESTO CAULIFLOWER Alfredo for lunch today 🙃 ❤️ Results of a mini meal prep yesterday! Recipe for sauce below and see my stories for instructions on crispy salmon. I used Explore Cuisine mung bean fettuccine for the pasta and added some arugula and crispy kale. • • Sauce: for the Alfredo: 2 cups of cauliflower florets and 2 cloves garlic steamed...add to blender and add 1-2 tablespoons olive oil, 1/4 cup full fat coconut milk, a couple dashes Himalayan salt, a couple dashes of red pepper flakes and some seasoning of choice.
