Fit tip of the day โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ” Get Outside! Sometimes I get so caught up in going to the gym and following my pre-planned workout for the day, that I forget being outside makes me so incredibly happy. Even though working out in a gym is one of my favorite things to do, there are days that my workouts get traded for going for a long walk with my dogs, riding horses, or working outside with my husband. Honestly, those end up being some of my favorite workouts โ˜บ๏ธ And on the days you work out in a gym, take your cool down or cardio outside...go for walk/jog, get out of your head and enjoy the fresh air. I'm definitely not measuring 34-26-34, but 34-30-34 is better than 51-49-60. ๐Ÿ˜œ __ I went from measuring a 51 inch chest, a 49 inch waist, and 60 inches around my hips to measuring a 34 inch chest, a 30 inch waist, and 34 inches around my hips. __ I went from wearing a 3XL shirt and size 22 pants to a S shirt and size 3 pants. My initial goal with weight loss was getting to a size 10 pants. Even a size 10 seemed ambitious to me at the time lol. I had been wearing women's plus size clothing since I was 10 years old, and the smallest size I can recall wearing prior to my journey was a size 14. So it honestly never occurred to me that I could wear the size I'm wearing now. __ It goes to show that no goal is too big or too small. Whatever your goal is, GO FOR IT! Posting this again with more deets 1st pic (left) taken before I started anything on the 25th October. 2nd pic (middle) is from 5th December after a lifestyle of of 50:50 cardio and weights and a controlled diet. Third picture is yesterday (20th Feb) of a lifestyle of no calorie counting, no cardio, just heavy lifting and a lot of LISS I will point out that I do eat fairly healthily, but I generally eat whatever I want and snack whenever I want. I go to the gym 5 days a week (1hr 45mins is lifting) and I generally reach about 12,000 steps a day. I havenโ€™t shared much of my workouts this week...I have filmed a few though so Iโ€™ll share them later today. In the meantime, here is a glimpse at what Iโ€™ve done this week plus Iโ€™ve been running 4+ miles each night for the last three weeks. ๐Ÿ’ฆ talk about a sweat sesh! I like to break up my workouts just so Iโ€™m not spending hours at the gym at one time. Plus Iโ€™m able to give 100% at each training session. If youโ€™re not able to split your workouts up, I HIGHLY suggest doing weight training FIRST and cardio second. This allows your body to be fresh and ready so youโ€™re able to push and lift your hardest. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝyeah muscles! On another note! If you arenโ€™t weight training...you should be. That is the key to successfully losing fat and keeping it off. Your muscles use waaay more calories and will help your body to stay strong and healthy throughout anything life throws at you. If you are one of those people that says, โ€œI donโ€™t want to lift because I will look bulky.โ€ Youโ€™re wrong and I donโ€™t like people like you. Drop that excuse because it is not true. Ask any body builder how long they have been growing and how they got there....I ๐Ÿ’ฏ guarantee that they will tell you itโ€™s been years of eating absurd amounts of calories, lifting crazy heavy stuff, months of bulking and cutting....if you think youโ€™re going to bulk up WITHOUT taking on at least a quarter of that...it ainโ€™t happening folks! You need to add weight training to your life! Help yoโ€™self!
