We all have a very busy lifestyles, and we might think "I didn't have time for personal care." . WRONG! . Been having the BEST time crafting my classes these past few weeks. Picture me in a lab coat with a magnifying glass, a blow torch and a bunch of test tubes...that’s me creating elaborate plans for you all 👩🏼‍🔬😂 it has really brought a new sense of joy, excitement and purpose to my job that I love so incredibly much! ♥️ This month has been about Activation and Awareness, mainly relating to the Fascia. Thanks to @yogawithkylie I am now madly obsessed with Fascia! It plays SUCH a major role throughout the entire body, nervous system and mind (to be discussed in next post 😉) This class is based on the Lateral Line of Fascia. It runs down either side of the body spanning the adductors, ITB, glutes, QL, obliques, intercostals, serratus and SCM all the way up to your ears! It is involved in the connection between the front and back body and allows us to walk, squat or lunge in a straight line without wobbling all over the place. УПРАЖНЕНИЯ ДЛЯ РАЗБЛОКИРОВКИ СЕДАЛИЩНОГО НЕРВА Самый крупный нерв в нашем теле – седалищный, а его защемление сопровождается сильнейшей болью, временным частичным параличом. Перечисленные упражнения одобрены врачами-ортопедами — они советуют их всем, кто столкнулся с проблемами крестцово-поясничного отдела. УПРАЖНЕНИЕ № 1 🧘🏼‍♀️Лечь на пол, согнуть в колене ногу. 🧘🏼‍♀️Держа ногу руками, постепенно прижимать ее к грудной клетке. 🧘🏼‍♀️Удерживать ногу в подобном положении не менее 30 сек. 🧘🏼‍♀️Медленно опустить ногу на пол. Повторять такое упражнение надо 2-5 раз, затем, тоже самое проделать со второй ногой. УПРАЖНЕНИЕ № 2 🧘🏼‍♀️Лечь на пол, согнуть в коленях ноги. 🧘🏼‍♀️Скрестить ноги, помогая руками, как можно сильней. 🧘🏼‍♀️Продержаться в такой позе не меньше 30 сек. 🧘🏼‍♀️Медленно вернуться в исходное положение. Проделать это еще несколько раз. Оба способа отлично расслабят Ваш седалищный нерв, снимут болезненные ощущения в области поясницы, крестцового отдела. I still have a lot to work on but I can now hold my legs up without falling over! I know it looks like my foot is using the wall to hold me, but it’s not 😂 I found the balance (yaaaayy!) 😊 I still need the wall when I lift myself up sometimes because when practicing it can put a lot of pressure on the neck if not done right. But I’m really happy with my progress!

I went to Austin. I took an aerial class where I hung from silks, rode on a suspended swing, and did 360 turns from a hanging hula hoop. I went to a karaoke bar and sang Disney songs from my childhood. I danced at a silent disco and it brought me back to days spent dancing in front of my mirror. And in the process of all this I got to spend time with a group of boss babes. Thanks ladies for the good times and thank you Austin for living up to to the hype ✌️
