PRE-WORKOUT FOODS Hey guys here are some my favourite foods that I will eat before I workout. Fuelling my body with proper nutrition before working out will allow me to train harder and make the most of my workout. While we all have different nutritional requirements, these known foods which have the perfect balance of fats, carbs and protein - they can stave off hunger, fuel your body, fight fatigue and even aid recovery. At the moment I am training and focusing on building muscle 💪 so here are some of my favourite pre-workout foods. Yoghurt 🍓+ Fruits. The fruit is full of carbohydrates while greek yogurt packs a protein-filled punch and sliced almonds as they are a great source of fat + protein. Oats🌾. Oats are full of fibre they will release carbohydrates gradually. Due to this slow release, energy levels are kept consistent throughout your workout, meaning you can train harder for longer. Whole grain bread 🍞 + peanut butter + bananas. Whole grain bread and banana are an excellent source of carbs. Peanut butter good source of fat. Bananas 🍌 . Known as nature’s power bar, bananas are packed with carbohydrates and potassium, which supports nerve and muscle function. Trail Mix 🥜. Nuts do have a high-fat content, but they provide the protein and calories required if you are trying to gain muscle mass. For those whose goal is weight loss, steer clear. Apples 🍎 + Peanut Butter. The sense of sight can keep us stuck in the external world, which can be so consuming that we get stuck outside and forget the inside. .. Inversions help us rely and focus less on sight and more on intuition to develop an inward awareness.

I was busy working on deeper breaths, busy working through my irrational thoughts, busy calming my racing heart and busy reminding myself that everything is ok. Sometimes this is our busy and we don't have to apologise for it. I'm back on the gram posts after some time off!!! There are all sorts of reasons that people find it hard to meditate. If you have been struggling and trying to meditate on your own and find it difficult, I hope these explanations should help. ☺️ How to meditate: 1.FIND A QUIET SPOT: Pick on place and time where you won't be disturbed for a few minutes. 2 SIT COMFORTABLY: Maintain straight but relaxed back. Relax your shoulders,legs. Sit cross-legged on the floor if preferred. 3.FOCUS ON BREATH: By paying attention on your Clavicular breathing (how we typically breathe). 2- Thoracic breathing. 3- Diaphragmatic breathing. 4.FEEL THE BREATH GOING IN & OUT: Inhale. Exhale. Rise and fall. 5 NOTICE THOUGHTS THAT ARISE: It's natural for the mind to be full of thoughts, Do not fight them. Instead, observe them. 6. GENTLY RETURN TO THE BREATH: Calmly let the thoughts pass and come back to the present by focusing on the breath. Inhale. Exhale. 7. AIM FOR 5 MINUTES: If that's too much start with one minute. 8. PRACTICE EVERYDAY: Be more concerned with making this a habit as opposed to the quality of the session 9. MAKE PROGRESS PATIENTLY: All there is to do is notice what you notice and relax in the present, unburdened by thoughts.
