Cuál es la importancia del entrenamiento de Core? El core, o núcleo, no es el “six pack”, sino toda la región abdominal y la parte baja de la espalda, incluyendo los oblicuos, el cuadro lumbar, multífidos, diafragmas torácico y pélvico, recto del abdomen, abdominal transverso, serratos, suelo pélvico, cuadro lumbar, transverso del abdomen, erectores espinales y glúteos. El ejercicio de esta sección es primordial para la postura y la disminución del riesgo de caídas, además de fomentar una buena respiración. Por otra parte, los estados de ansiedad y miedo generan malas posturas, teniendo efecto en el core y causando dolencias. A nivel espiritual, el entrenamiento de core fomenta el elemento madera, que nos da estabilidad, enfoque y la posibilidad de aprender a escuchar nuestro corazón y tener un idóneo conocimiento de nosotros mismos. Además, el elemento madera nos permite crear cosas en comunión con el fuego (la pasión). HANDSTAND & PINCHA TUCK TO SCORPION . I was discussing scorpion pose with a friend and we both agreed that our favorite way to get into it, is jumping into a tuck and then coiling the feet over to scorpion. 💁‍♀️ Then I realized I’d never done a tutorial about it! 🤷‍♀️ . 1: Handstand Tuck To Scorpion: 🦂Start on a short downward facing dog. Inhale bend your knees and rise high up onto the balls of your feet. Staying high on the balls of your feet exhale all your breath out and compress your belly and chest to your thighs. This is the same thigh to chest compression you need to find as you jump into your tuck. Inhale, press down into your hands and exhale jump up into your tuck handstand squeezing your thighs to your body and heels to your sit bones. Compress yourself into a tight little package. . Bring your big toes to touch (somehow it makes connecting to the coiling motion so much easier if you bring your big toes together. And start to arch your upper back and look forward and at the same time coil your toes up out of the tuck and overhead. I envision trying to curl them over like a wave 🌊 or as if I was trying to create the letter C with my body. Keep your inner thighs and knees parallel and try to resist gripping with your butt. . 2: Pinch Tuck Jumps: Come onto your hands and knees and set up your hands the way you like them for Pincha. I like mine interlaced for this variation. Press your hands and forearms down, spread your shoulder blades and feel your triceps wrap back towards your ribcage. Inhale as you bend your knees and exhale jump up compressing your knees to your chest. Remember to push down into your mat like crazy with your hands and forearms as you jump up so that your shoulders stay stable. . 3: Pincha Tuck to Scorpion: Follow the instructions from the first video for taking into forearm scorpion. . 🌱Follow us 📒 @yogafornewbie for more Yoga! . credit: @angelakukhahnyoga
