HOW TO BEND AND COME UP PROPERLY. Look, at the beginning of the video, I show the wrong way of doing it. The difference between the first part and the second is that in the second part I bend down and go up due to the movement in my hips - not due to the lower back flexion! Why not? Because when you bend your lower back, especially on the way up, it increases the pressure in the vertebrae, and if you do it abruptly you can get injured. Conversely, when you push your hips back, this allows your back and lower back to remain straight and you can even stretch and lengthen it while bending or coming up.

Emotions have a big influence on our digestion. I guess we all experienced that one way or another. I’m very sensitive to and my agni is very much changing - all my Vata Dosha - but I also have quite a lot of Pitta in my constitution which makes me sensitive to anger, impatience and irritability. . . In order to keep the agni in good balance pitta needs love. To placate Pitta emotions, you must get adequate rest. You can also cool off with a daily oil massage with sunflower or coconut oil. Rose water sprays or rose petal jams (an Ayurvedic concoction) are very useful in soothing feelings of irritation. It is also important to complete a daily meditation and to stop overworking and overdoing. To reduce emotions of Pitta dosha, you can do a cooling pranayam (breathing technique) like sitali pranayama (See previous post). It is also important to slow the pace of your speech and thoughts. . . #AyurvedaAndAgni Day 5 Kurmasana - it is so fascinating how this asana feels and how it looks 😄 when I’m doing it I have the feeling my spine is totally straight 🤔 ... anyway to not aggravate my Pitta I’ll go with the feelings and don’t try to control and make everything perfect ✨❤️✨ . .
