If you’re struggling to reach your hands in a bind, use a strap and bring the bind to you! If you’re finding it difficult to maintain integrity in your spine in boat pose, then make it easier on yourself! If the floor feels too far away and you’re collapsing in poses like triangle and extended side angle then grab a block and bring the floor to you! ⠀ Remember there is always more than one way to a posture and nobody should feel like they aren’t in a posture because they are modifying, if anything when we modify we honour the needs of our bodies by truly listening and responding rather than forcing. I hope these modifications are as helpful to you as they have been to me 🙏💙”

Plank pose, when done correctly, is excellent for strengthening the wrist and shoulders while stabilizing the core and legs. It also prepares you for other poses. Since it is done frequently, a misalignment could compound and effect the entire practice. . 1️⃣ start on all fours, shoulders stacked over wrists. Check with blocks behind your forearms 2️⃣ elbows back, triceps towards your torso, the eye of your elbow points towards your thumb 3️⃣ straighten your legs, press the balls of the feet down, create a right-angled triangle 4️⃣ your quads are pressing your bones upward, glutes engaged, Hollow body, lower belly sucked in 5️⃣ shoulder blades are externally rotated (protracted), shoulder girdle is „roundish“ 6️⃣ gaze forward Crerit @howtopracticeyoga ⭐️——-🌹——-🌹——⭐️ ➡️ Follow✅ @yogajouneygoal
