The only reason i get excited to go to sleep is because then i get to eat breakfast. Like c’mon, breakfast food is the best food — yay or nay? Either way, I’ll be up in the kitchen just working on my oatgame (say it to the tune of Fergalicious 🎶) . i am so grateful for every single one of you who have recreated the baked oats recipe. Ingredients: - 1/2 cup (40g) Rolled Oats - 2 tablespoons (14g) Coconut Flour - 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder - 1 egg white (46g) - Splash of Vanilla Extract - Water or Almond Milk to Mix (~1/2 cup) - tablespoon of rainbow sprinkles - 1 pack of Stevia 1️⃣In a bowl, mix oats, coconut flour, baking powder. Add in egg whites, vanilla, and water. Mix. Stir in Sprinkles 2️⃣ Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place oats in a small cake pan or ceramic bowl. Bake for 20 minutes. Once cooled, you can mix 0% Greek Yogurt and Cream Cheese together to make a frosting or just add some vanilla extract to Greek yogurt if that floats ya boat 🚣🏼‍♀️ If you give it a shot, shoot me a pic + let me know what you think. Food is powerful! You can feed yourself processed foods that cause inflammation and are nutritionally depleting. Or you can add in these foods that’ll fight symptoms of depression and promote brain health. You choose! 〰️ 🥑 Avocados contain both monounsaturated fats and folate. Monounsaturated fats may help lower the risk of depression because of they’re anti-inflammatory properties. Studies also show an association between folate deficiency and depressives symptoms. 🍜Thai red curry with tofu, noodles, zoodles and broccolini🍜 +++++++++++++++++++++++++ FOLLOW🔥@healthy_hot🔥 FOLLOW +++++++++++++++++++++++++ 🌱Recipe: Sauté 1 small white onion (small dice) in 1 tbsp neutral oil until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add 3 minced garlic cloves and 1 tbsp finely grated ginger. Sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add 2 tbsp Thai red curry paste and keep mixing on medium heat, about another minute. Add 1-15oz can coconut milk and 1/2 cup water and stir. Add bite-size broccoli florets (or other quick-cooking vegetables) and extra-firm tofu (3/4 inch cubes) and simmer until broccoli is fork tender. Remove from heat and stir in 1-2 tbsp tamari/soy sauce, 1 tbsp fresh lime juice (or to taste), 1 tsp sriracha (optional) and salt to taste. (Add a little brown sugar if desired.) Topped with cashews, red chili flakes, sesame seeds, fresh basil. DEZ 2016 - Listening to my body, eating what it felt right. DEZ 2017 - Using an app to count macros and calories DEZ 2018 - Eating whatever I want, whenever I want. . So, here’s a little bit of my story with food. . In 2016, almost 2 year into my fitness journey, I was doing what had always worked for me. Listen to my body, eating what it asked for, when it asked for. I was training outside & eating salads, meat, soups, vegetables, nachos, chocolate and fries whenever I wanted or felt right. No guilt. Not taking any supplements 🍃. I was extra skinny, but happy with myself. . In 2017 I started going to a regular gym. Watching all those people lifting heavy weights and drinking colorful liquids while they were training. Asking me questions and telling me what to do. I’ve always liked experimenting things, so I decided I was gonna try dieting and taking supplements. That was working for other people, so why not try… So I got on a DIET. I got myself a food scale and used the app myfitnesspal to count calories and macros. I was counting calories of a kale leaf. I thought about food all day long. What I ate, what I didn’t, how many calories I had left. Taking whey protein, glutamine, creatine, carnitine and whatever else the book I read said I should take. Checking my weight every morning. Food and numbers was all I could think of ALL DAY LONG. At night, after reaching my numbers, I’d eat whatever was in front of me, then feel guilty about it and force myself to throw up. That made by body retain water and get super bloated. It happened much more often that I’d like to admit. 🤕 . In 2018 I’ve taken my awareness back and said f*** dieting, f*** numbers. I don’t care what other people say I should do, or if they are stronger or leaner than me. Doing what other people are doing has never been one of my qualities anyways. I went back to my outdoor training and eating clean 95% of the time. The other 5% I’ll have chocolate, ice cream, lollipop, or whatever if I feel like it, NO GUILT. I workout and eat healthy enough to enjoy a delicious sugary dessert once in a while and feel great! HAPPIER THAN EVER 😃 Tag a friend who could benefit from this post 👇

Christmas music everywhere you go! Preheat oven to 400. Using a cookie cutter cut a circle out in the middle of your slice of bread. Butter one side and place it butter down on baking pan. Then butter facing up side add a slice of ham (using cookie cutter to cut out same size circle on ham) sprinkle with shredded cheese blend and thyme. If you decide to take on your own health journey (or whatever you choose to call it) it is SO important to ensure nutrition is a part of that. Understanding nutrition and what your body requires is key to get the results you are looking for in a healthy way. I am not a dietitian nor a nutritionist however, I have done my fair share of research as well as personal experience and know that what you put in your body plays a much larger factor than working alone. When you COMBINE exercies and healthy nutrition is when successful body change happens. . . I have had so women tell me they workout constantly and see very little results. When I ask how their nutrtion is...well it usually isn't very good. I was so guilty of this. I would spend hours on cardio machines and then go and drink a bottle of wine, more drinks at the bar followed by the 2am Macdonalds run 🤮. . . In a world full of cancers, diseases, obesity...why aren't we all taking a minute to make sure we are taking care of our body...the thing that's keeps us alive? Most of us won't think twice on spending $6 on a Starbucks sugar filled beverage but yet won't spend that kind of money on superfoods and healthy alternatives. Sure my cafe latte shake above costs money but for me, knowing that I am receiving all of my nutrients for the day in one go of course I am going to invest! . .
