Do you want the secret to weight loss? Here it is! Simple as that 🙌🏼 - Note that the “calories burned” can be also a variable and the “calories eaten” can stay constant. Thus you just have to be more active to burn more calories to lose weight. It always comes down to a caloric plus or deficit ✨ - No matter if you want to gain or lose weight I recommend whole food plant-based nutrition because it’s healthier. It has on average fewer calories than animal products while being rich in micronutrients and fiber. 💡There is no magic pill, no matter what someone tries to sell you. All you have to achieve is a caloric deficit and at the end of the day, you will lose weight. So a caloric deficit over time does the job 💪🏼 - ✅How to achieve a caloric deficit? There are endless ways! Here are my recommendations which are health promoting and can be maintained long-term (because many weight-loss strategies are not healthy, especially not long term, for example avoiding fruits 🙄). Here we go: - 🏃🏽Being more active throughout the day 🥒Eat more foods that are low in calories, high in nutrition and volumes like fruits and vegetables. They make you satisfied and keep you satisfied because they are loaded with nutrients and fiber 🍴Eat less. We tend to eat when we are not really hungry and overeat ⏱Intermittent Fasting (IF) It’s a tool where you narrow your feeding window. Try it and see if it helps you to achieve your weight-loss goals easier (check out my youtube video about IF). 🙂Less stress. When we are stressed our body craves sugary foods 🚰Drink more water, especially before a meal so you overeat less 🙏🏼Have a more mindful relationship towards your food.
